101 reasons you love Davis Bloome!

I thought I would start a new thread. For those who love him, why do love him? Let's think of 101 reasons. One for each post, just for fun!

One reason for me is:

1) The way he "only' had eyes for Chloe. No one else.

3) The fact that he killed himself before telling Chloe to stay with him to hold back Doomsday (so that she could be free)

6) Davis is a romantic.

7) The fact that he's a sensitive guy who COOKS for Chloe. And you know, doesn't just blow Chloe off on her birthday and then bring her crappy bagels as a peace offering.

31. Davis Bloome is a wonderful classic mix of the archetypal orphan hero with the Byronic hero. An older, darker Oliver Twist with the edge of the Beast and romantic vampires like Mick and Edward. How can you not love that?
32. Davis and his relationship with Chloe (minus the episode DD) bring the story of Beauty and the Beast to life in a way that has never been done before!
33. He could totally kick Clark and the rest of the JL's a**.
34. Davis is played by Sam Witwer. I repeat, Davis is played by Sam Witwer.
35. He's not wishy-washy. He knows what he wants when he wants it and goes for it, which is a refreshing change on this show!
36. He's a twin soul to Chloe.
37. He has a great sense of humor and appreciates strong, intelligent women. He's not easily intimidated.
38. He always tries to do the right thing and makes the best of his circumstances.
