Thanks Glove!! I'm so EXCITED about this show!! I remember being a kid and running around the backyard with the neighbor kids playing "V"! My best friend would always play Donovan and I played Martin, we would make his kid sister play Diana! (If we were 10 at the time she would have been 7 or 8) Just imagine this little girl running around the backyard pretending to be the most over the top sci fi villianous! It was fabulous!! I can remember her saying "You need an attitude adjustment my dear. And it will be my pleasure to give it to you." LOL

I remember when I was in high school and V-The Series was in it's
first airing. My brother was about 2 or 3 and I got him to watch it
from time to time. He'd always call out "Lizards" as loud as he
could. To this day, my brother still laughs at me for those days.
I was a bit old to play V, but when I was young...it was Star Trek.
My cousin was Captain Kirk and I was Spock.

Jenny Sullivan

Jenny Sullivan Played Kristine Walsh in the original V Miniseries
and V:The Final Battle Miniseries. She was the reporter who
stood by the Visitors 100% until her ex-boyfriend/cameraman,
Mike Donovan, proved to her that the Visitors were not friends
to the people of Earth. She met her demise at the hands of
Diana.

Jenny Sullivan was born in 1947. She is the daughter of Barry
Sullivan. Jenny wrote the play "J for J" (Journals for John)
which was prompted after she found a packet of unsent
letters (In 1955) written by Barry decades earlier to her older
bother, Johnny, who was mentally disabled. John Ritter, who
also had a brother that was mentally disabled, played Johnny.
In 1990's, she was working as theatrical director and in 2001,
the play premiered.

Her first feature film was "The Angry Breed" (1968) followed
by "Plaza Suite" (1971), "The Other" and "The Candidate" (1972).

She has made appearances on TV shows: "Adam-12",
"Sanford and Son", "Ironside", "Falcon Crest", "LA Law",
"All in the Family", and "The Fall Guy".

Information her was brief and I had to dig deep for any
pictures of her. The only one I found was one of her
from V. It would have been nice to see something
more recent.

Richard Herd

Richard Herd was born September 26, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Son of Katherine and Richard Herd Sr.. He is an American actor in
television and film. He is well-known in the science fiction community
for his role as John, the Visitors' Supreme Commander. Other major
genre roles include "SeaQuest DSV", "Star Trek: Voyager", "Quantum
Leap", and outside sci-fi "TJ Hooker", "Seinfeld", "The Rockford Files",
"Starsky and Hutch", "The A-Team", "NYPD Blues", and "JAG".
He made his film debut in "Hercules in New York" (1970) and at
one point served as 3rd National Vice President of the Screen Actors
Guild. His first major film role was "The China Syndrome". Other films
include "Private Benjamin", "Trancers", "Summer Rental", "Planes,
Trains & Automobiles", "Sgt. Bilko", "Vice" (1999), "The Cabinet of
Dr. Caligari" (2005), and "Dog Days of Summer" (2007).
*Richard will be performing with "The Enterprise Blues Band" at
the Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas---Aug. 6th thru Aug. 8th, 2009.
He hopes that his fans will attend. He's been around and is
obviously well-liked as an actor.

I too liked Martin, the 5th columnist, because of his extraordinary selflessness and the risks he took working behind enemy lines. I was disappointed when he was killed in the first episode of the weekly "V" series. His character was very goodhearted and likeable.

Faye Grant

Faye Grant (Born Faye Elizabeth Yoe) born July 16, 1957 in
St. Clair Shores, Michigan is an American actress. She's the
daughter to a police officer father.

Her first television role was "The Greatest American Hero".
She is best-known as "Juliet Parrish" in the science fiction
mini-series and 1985 series "V: The Visitors". She was
the leader of the LA resistance against the Visitors.

She has made guest appearances on TV shows like "The
Incredible Hulk", "Time of your Life", "Tales from the Crypt",
and most recently, "7th Heaven", which stars her husband,
actor Stephen Collins. They have been married since 1985
and have a daughter, Kate.

Her film credits include "The January Man", "Internal Affairs",
"Drive Me Crazy", and "Omen IV: The Awakening".

Grants sole Broadway performance, in the 1985 stage
adaptation of "Singing in the Rain", won her the Theatre
World Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination as
Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.

June Chadwick

Since she appeared in Sanman's Youtube video in the previous
post...I've decided to do June Chadwick. She was born on
November 30, 1951 in Warwickshire, England and is an English
actress. Her mother was a professional bridge player while
her father worked as a real estate agent. June attended
music school where she was trained in operatic and classical
music. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
June lived and worked in Africa for some years after the
cancellation of "V: The Visitors".

Her most famous TV role was as Lydia on "V: The 1985 Series".
She played a visitor who challenged Diana. She was also in
"Riptide" and a short-lived series called "Going to Extremes".
She's made guest appearances on "Magnum, PI", "The A-Team",
"Matlock", "Murder, She Wrote", "Scarecrow and Mrs. King",
"1st & Ten", and "MacGyver".

Her best film credit was "This is Spinal Tap". Other film work
includes "Forbidden World", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", and "Facing
the Enemy" (2001).

She provided the voice of Dr. Sheila Thatcher in the video
game "Star Trek: Away Team" (2001). Here are a couple

Duncan Regehr

I've decided to do Duncan Regehr this time. This guy has had
quite an interesting life. He was born October 5, 1952 in Lethbridge,
Alberta and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. His mother,
Dorothy Mary, was UK-born, and his father, Peter Regehr, was a
Russian-born artist. He is a Canadian writer, multi-media artist,
and film and television actor. He has also been a figure skater,
an Olympic boxing contender, and a classically trained Shakespearean
stage actor in his native Canada, before heading to Hollywood in
1980.

After numerous appearances in Canadian theatre, television, and
notable roles on radio for the Canadian Broadcast Corporation,
he and his wife, Catherine, moved to LA, California, where he
began to develop his work in film and television. His first US
television role was a short-lived series "Wizards and Warriors"
in 1983. He went on to star in many more US television films
including the 1984 mini-series "Last Days of Pompeii", the 1985
CBS film "My Wicked, Wicked Ways", and "V-The 1985 Series"
as visitor military leader Charles. He also starred in 1982
mini-series "The Blue and The Gray". He guest starred on
"Cybill", "Murder, She Wrote", "Hotel", "Star Trek: The Next
Generation", and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine".

His film roles incluce: "The Monster Squad" in 1987, "Earth
Star Voyager" in 1988, "The Banker" in 1989, "Timemaster"
in 1995, "Air Bud: World Pup" in 2000, "Krocodylus" in 2000,
"Flying Virus" in 2001, "Secret Lives" in 2005, "Presumed
Dead" in 2006, "The Room at the End of the Hall" in 2007,
and "The Strange Case of DJ Cosmic" in 2008.

One of his best-known roles to date was in "New World
Zorro" as the masked hero for 88 episodes on Christian
Broadcasting Network's Family Channel from 1990 to 1993.

Less known about him is that he's been painting and
drawing since childhood. He first exhibited his artwork
in 1974 at the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Yorkville
Art Center in Toronto, as well as numerous exhibitions
in Canada, USA, Britain, and Europe. In 1996, he won
the American Vision Award of Distinction in the Arts and
was granted the lifetime appellation 'Royal Canadian
Artist' with honours in 2000 by the Royal Canadian
Academy of Art. In 2008, he was awarded the
honorary degree of Doctor of Fine Arts by the University
of Victoria.

This guy has made quite an impressive name for himself.

Michael Wright

Michael Wright is the actor that I have chosen to do this time.
He was born April 30, 1956 in New York, New York. He is an
American film and television actor. He is well known for his TV
role in all incarnations of "V: The Visitors" as Elias Taylor, a
former street hood turned freedom fighter against the visitors
after the death of his doctor brother. He went on to the HBO
series "Oz" (2001-2003) and he played "Clinton", the leader of
an African-American gang in the cult film "The Wanderers".

He made guest appearances on "Miami Vice" and "New York
Undercover".

Other film roles include: "The Principal" (1987), "The Five
Heartbeats" (1991), "Sugar Hill" (1994), "Money Talks" (1997),
"Rage" (1999), "Batman: Dark Tomorrow" (A voice in 2001),
"The Interpreter" (2005), and "Downtown: A Street Tale"
(2007).

David Packer

Time to do David Packer. He was born August 25, 1962 in
Passaic, New Jersey. He is an American actor. His first
starring role was as the human traitor Daniel Bernstein in
the 1983 NBC Mini series "V" and the 1984 sequel "V: The
Final Battle". He was good friends with "V" co-star
Dominique Dunne. He was rehearsing a scene with her
for "V" the night she was murdered by her boyfriend.

He has made guest appearances on TV shows:
"ER", "Fame", "St. Elsewhere", "The Division", "CSI: Las
Vegas", "CSI: NY", "M*A*S*H", and "Profiler".

He has also appeared in films: "Robocop" (1987),
"You Can't Hurry Love" (1988), "Crazy People" (1990),
"Strange Days" (1995), "True Crime" (1996), "Almost
Heroes" (1998), "Intrepid" (2000), "You're Killing Me..."
and "Hollywood Palms" (2001), "Infested" (2002), and
"Beach Movie" (2003).

In 1994, he received the Cable Ace Award for his
role in 1993 TV series "Big Al".

Andrew Prine

Andrew Prine was born February 14, 1936 in Jennings, Florida. He is
a well-known stage actor also known for military/western dramas. After
graduating High School, he made his acting debut three years later in an
episode of CBS US Steel Hour. His next role was in the 1959 Broadway
production of Thomas Wolfe's "Look Homeward, Angel". In 1962, he was
cast in Academy Award-nominated film, "The Miracle Worker". In 1962,
he landed the lead role in TV Series "The Wide Country". This isn't one
of his most famous roles, but since this is a "V: The Visitors" forum I'll
mention that in 1983 "V: The Original" and in 1984 "V: The Final Battle",
he played Steven, a visitor who led Diana's military forces in LA.

This guy has guest starred in TV Series, TV Movies, and Movies since
the late 1950s and has stuff coming soon to television. The list is so
long that I'll condense it down to more familiar projects. I think that
this guy has been in just about everything. Let's start with some
movies: "The Miracle Worker" (1962), "Bandolero" (1968), "This Savage
Land" (1969), "Simon, King of Witches" (1971), One Little Indian" (1973),
"Wonder Woman" (1974), "Grizzly" (1976), "Last of the Mohicans" (1977),
"Amityville II: The Possession" (1982), "And the Children Shall Lead"
(1985), "Eliminators" (1986), "Mission of the Shark: The Saga of

Best Actor Dramalogue Awards.

He is the cousin of Country Singer John Prine. In 1962, he
married actress Sharon Farrell, but the marriage ended a few
months later. In 1965, he married actress Brenda Scott, but
the marriage ended after a month. They remarried in 1966
and divorced later. Prine is currently married to actress
Heather Lowe and has been so since 1986. For a guy born
on Valentine's Day, he had a rocky start when it comes to
wives.

Leonardo Cimino

I just watched "Waterworld" and recognized Leonardo Cimino in the
background as an extra and thought that I would do the veteran
actor. I looked all over and couldn't find a birthdate, sorry.
He's listed as an Italian film and television actor. He's been in movies
and television since the late 1950's. I believe that he's still alive.
Twice he's played Nazi concentration camp survivors: First time
in his most famous role as Abraham Bernstein in the 1983 "V: The
Original Mini-series" and again in the movie "The Monster Squad".

Some of his more famous television roles include: "Naked City",
"Kojak", "Ryan's Hope", "The Equalizer", and "Law & Order". I
mentioned V above.

Some of his more famous movie roles include: "Amityville II: The
Possession" (1982), "Dune" (1984), "The Monster Squad" (1987),
"Moonstruck" (1987), "The Seventh Sign" (1988), "The Freshman"
(1990), "Hudson Hawk" (1991), "Waterworld" (1995), and his
most recent work was "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead"
(2007).

Jane Badler

I thought I would give someone time to beat me to it (Possibly,
do a better bio), but there were no takers. I've decided that
it was time to do Jane Badler this time.

Jane Badler was born on December 31, 1953 in Brooklyn, New
York. She is an American actress. She is best known for her
role as Diana, the chief antagonist in the 1980's sci-fi saga
"V: The Visitors" (Both mini-series and the television series).

She won the title Miss New Hampshire and competed in 1973
Miss America Pageant. She enrolled at Northwestern University
in Illinois to study drama.

Her first television role was on daytime soap opera "One Life
to Live" from 1977 to 1981. She returned to the role in 1983.
She also appeared in an episode of "Fantasy Island". She was
in another daytime soap "The Doctors" from 1981 to 1982.
After which she was in V. Following V, she guest starred for
the 1986-1987 season primetime soap opera "Falcon Crest".
Other guest appearances include "Riptide", "Hotel", and "Murder,
She Wrote". In 1988, she was in TV series "The Highwayman".
She then traveled to Australia to film 1980's revival of "Mission:
Impossible". When the show was cancelled, she moved to
Australia permanently and married businessman Stephen Hains.
They have two sons.

In recent years, she forged a career in cabaret and on stage.
She sings in some of these plays. She released her debut solo
album "The Devil Has My Double" in 2008. This is an autobiographical
album.

Jennifer Cooke

I've decided to do Jennifer Cooke. She was born September 19, 1964
in Setauket, Long Island. She starred in "V: The Series" as Elizabeth
Maxwell AKA the dreaded 'Star Child'. In my opinion, the worst version
of the Star Child which should have remained a CHILD, not transformed
into an ADULT over one episode. This is not Jennifer's fault and I'll make
that personal note in her defense. She married Mo Siegel, who was the
founder of the very popular Celestial Seasonings Tea Company, since
1989.

Her television credits include: "Daddy, I Don't Like It Like This" (1978),
"The Guiding Light" (1981-1983), "V" and "Covenant" in 1985, "A Year
In The Life" and "The Hitchhiker" in 1986.

Her movie credits include: "T & A Academy 2" which sounds like A-List
material and "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives" which explains why
she retired from acting and moved on to the Tea business. She is
active in the Urantia Brotherhood/Fellowship. Whatever that is?
