      Michael Ironside

It's time to do actor Michael Ironside. Born February 12th, 1950
in Toronto, Canada. His birth name was Frederick Reginald Ironside.
He's been married twice and has two daughters Adrienne and Findlay
through both marriages. He's been married to his current wife,
Karen Dimwiddle, since September 1986 to present. He moved to
Los Angeles, California in 1982. He was a successful arm wrestler
in his teenage years. His initial ambition was to be a writer. At 15
years old, he wrote a play called "The Shelter" that won first prize
in a Canada-wide university contest; he used to prize money to
mount a production of this play. He attended the Ontario College
of Art and studied three years at the Canadian National Film Board.
He worked in construction as a roofer prior to embarking on an
      acting career.

Michael has made a strong and indelible impression with his often
intense and explosive portrayals of fearsome villians throughout
the years. He began acting in the late 70s and received plenty
of recogition as a deadly and powerful psychic in David Cronenberg's
"Scanners". He was likewise very chilling in "Visiting Hours". Other
      memorable roles include:

"Cross Country", "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone"
(Which I might add that I saw in 3-D back in the theatres in the
1980s), "Top Gun", "Extreme Prejudice", "Nowhere to Hide", "Watchers",
"Highlander II: The Quickening", "Free Willy", "Bolt", "The Next Karate
Kid", and "Major Payne". He appeared in two highly entertaining
science fiction features for Paul Verhoeven "Total Recall" and
"Starship Troopers". He showed a more tender and thoughtful
side with his role in "Chaindance". He was in this summer's
"Terminator: Salvation". He was originally attached to play the
title role in "Robocop", but was too big to fit into the suit.

On television, he played the tough mercenary Ham Tyler on the
epic mini-series "V: The Final Battle" and the short-lived series.
He had a recurring role on TV series "SeaQuest DSV". Among the
television programs Michael has done guest shots on are "The
A-Team", "Hill Street Blues", "Mike Hammer", "The Hitchhiker",
"Tales from the Crypt", "Superman", "Walker, Texas Ranger",
"The Outer Limits", "Smallville", "ER", "Desperate Housewives",
"Justice League", and "Masters of Horror". Like Terence Stamp,
he played Superman foe and friend; he played "Darkseid" in
"Justice League" and "Gen. Sam Lane" in "Smallville". More
recently, he garnered a slew of plaudits and a Gemini Award
Nomination for his outstanding portrayal of a shrewd biker gang
leader in the acclaimed Canadian mini-series "The Last Chapter".
In addition to his substantial film and TV work, he has also lent
his distinctive deep voice to TV commercials and video games.

He's a friend of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler and
he's a big fan of wrestling.

        Sandy Simpson

It looks like I'm starting to dig into the more obscure characters. I've
decided to do Sandy Simpson. No birthdate or location. He didn't act
for more than a decade. There wasn't much on this guy, not even a
good PR picture to be found.

On "V: The Final Battle", he played Mark, a former police officer who is
        a member of the resistance.

He did plenty of TV movies between 1981 and 1991. Here is a list:
"Goliath Awaits" (1981), "Her Life as a Man" (1984), "Triple Cross" (1986),
"Glory Years" (1987), "Hammer, Slammer & Slade" (1989), and "Without a
        Pass" (1991).

He guest starred in several TV series between 1981 and 1991. Here
is a list: "It's a Living", "Hotel", "Off the Rack", "Paper Chase", "Fast
Times", "The Facts of Life", "Just the Ten of us", "Hard Times on
Planet Earth", "Hearts Afire", and "Platypus Man".

Recently, he did some voice work on a movie called "Fly Me to the Moon".
        This was released in 2008.

This is all that I could find. Feel free to add anything.

          Denise Galik

I do believe that this will be the last of my obscure characters before I
do some of the 1985 television series characters and finish up the thread
until some of the originals appear in the new V. I've decided to do the
actress Denise Galik. Her birthday is December 4th. She was born in
Cleveland, Ohio. She married and now goes by Denise Galik-Furey.

She played Maggie Blodgett on "V: The Final Battle". She was supposed
to marry Mark, "the police officer turned rebel", that I did in the previous
bio. They got their brief storyline and were vaporized accordingly in the
          second episode of the mini-series.

Denise starred in television on soap operas. Her first role was in "Knots
Landing" 1980-1981. She has also appeared in "Flamingo Road" and
"General Hospital" 1992-1994. She revived her character from "General
Hospital" on "Port Charles" from 1997-2001.

She has made guest appearances on TV Shows:
"Welcome Back Kotter", "Rhonda", "Charles Angels", "The Incredible Hulk",
"The A-Team", "Knight Rider", "Magnum, P.I.", and "Law & Order: Criminal
          Intent".

She has been in TV Movies such as "The Andromeda Strain" (2008) and
"All She Wants For Christmas" (2006).

She has also appeared in feature films:
1975-"The Happy Hooker", 1980-"Oh, God! Book II", 1982-"Deadly Games",
1983-"Get Crazy", 1986-"Eye of the Tiger", and 1991-"Career Opportunities".

You guessed it, no pictures of the actress known as Denise Galik-Furey.
Don't be embarrased if you find something that I could not. My computer
skills are lacking. Add anything that would be interesting. Thank You.

            Dick Miller

The last two bios were so depressing that I've decided to do another. This
time I've picked an actor that has actually been around. Dick Miller is the
actor that I've chosen to do. He was born on December 25, 1928. His mom
got quite a Christmas Present. He was born in the Bronx, New York. He
attended City College of New York as well as Columbia University. He has
performed on Broadway. He has worked at Bellevue Mental Hygiene Clinic
and Psychiatric Department of Queens General Hospital. In 1952, he moved
            to California.

He played Dan Pascal in "V: The Final Battle". He helped the resistance
make fake security passes to get past the Visitor guards at the gala at
the Los Angelos Medical Center. They eventually caught up with him
and he received a laser blast for his troubles.

Dick is an American actor who has appeared in many films, particularly
those produced by Roger Corman, and later in films of directors who
started their careers with Corman, including Joe Dante and James
Cameron. He's had a part in all of Roger Corman's movies.

            His movie roles include:
"White Line Fever", "The Terminator", "Night of the Creeps", "Small
Soldiers", "It Conquered the World", "Tales From the Crypt: Demon
Knight", "Bucket of Blood", "The Little Shop of Horrors", "Chopping
Mall", "The Howling", "Gremlins", "Gremlins 2: The New Batch", and
            "Pulp Fiction".

            His television credits include:
"Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", and
he did the voice of gangster Chuckie Sol in the animated film "Batman:
The Mask of the Phantasm". He also directed an episode of "Miami
            Vice".

I thought I'd save the best of the 1985 television series for last. Here he is,

                    Jeff Yagher

I've just rewatched the first four episodes of the 1985 series with the episodes:
Liberation Day, Dreadnaught, Breakout, and The Deception, and I've decided to
do Jeff Yagher. He was actually considered a main star on this show.

He was born January 18, 1961 in Lawrence, Kansas and is an American actor.
He graduated from Ohio State University and then attended the prestigious
Yale School of Drama, where he appeared in productions of "The Vultures",
"We Can't Play, We Won't Play", and "Las Madres".

His television debut was in "V: The Series" in 1985. He played Kyle Bates,
the son of Nathan Bates. Later, he starred in "21 Jump Street" in a role
taken over by Johnny Depp. He also appeared in several episodes of "Six
Feet Under". Most recently, he continues to appear in other shows such
as "Without a Trace" and "Bones".

"Tales from the Crypt", "Freddy's Nightmares", "Magnum P.I.", "Murder,
She Wrote", "The Practice", "Seinfeld", "Alias", "Angel", "Reba", "Walker,
Texas Ranger", "Star Trek: Voyager", and "Profiler".

Additionally, he was an Elvis impersonator in an episode of "The Twilight
                    Zone".

                    His feature film credits include:
