What's Chloe's problem?

I don't get what Chloe's problem is with Clark! At the beginning of the episode, she ridicules Clark when he demonstrates his dual identity trick, which is odd when last episode she suggested that he create one. Then at the end of the episode, she says to "quit [his] job at the Daily Planet and put the Red-Blue-Blur back in the wardrobe". So, after all that encouraging for the past god-knows how many episodes, Chloe decides that enough is enough. Did this frustrate anyone else?

BTW I loved this episode, it was just slight niggle that bothered me! The show's taking a turn for the best!

It was her reacting in her overprotective way. She doesn't want Clark to get caught. And it made sense to me, since I always thought one of the reasons she chose not to try get her job back was because of protecting Clark's secret. That's Chloe's motto protect Clark's secret first and fore most.
