I hope they explain how the premise of this episode happened. It would have been so much better if last week's episode ended with Dean saying to Castiel "You have the wrong guy" and Castiel puts Dean/Sam in a different reality where they never became hunters. It would have been a great cliffhanger.

Yeah, I don't see how they could not explain it. It would be so random if they just showed Sam/Dean in the AU and offered no reason why they were there or how they got there.
