So Sam ended being a bigger pawn than just getting the demon blood as a baby and being destined to be the "Demon General"... his dying/Dean's deal in AHBL ended up being the true catalyst for the start of the Apocalypse 'process'.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say both Hell AND Heaven hates the Winchesters.

I was really pleased to hear that John held out for 100 years. Not to knock Dean down, because I surely wouldn't last 30 years, but wow. It was nice to hear that John was strong enough.

Yeah, but how did he actually get off of the rack? I keep thinking of Dean at the end of S3, all chained up...how do you get out of that?
