There's where you're hiding Karine! I'm the same as you, I've watched that scene so many times! The lyrics to the song are a perfect fit....I loved it so much I had to listen to it again and again...and again

Dreamer ~ by Uh Huh Her

You've seen the worst of me now.
          I'm all alone, see?
          You lost me somehow.
And what we're fighting for is peace.
Are you still in love with me?
          Or someone else?

Well are you such a dreamer?
          Put yourself in my shoes.
Careful what you wish for, love.

I've seen the worst of you too.
          I let it go, see?
          Because I have to.
And when I'm falling on my knees,
You'll take my hand in yours.
          What will be, will be.

Well are you such a dreamer?
          Put yourself in my shoes.
Careful what you wish for, love.

What's the matter with our ways?
          I'm missing something,
          Not to blame.
          But don't you worry,
          This will pass.
It's only cause my mind's been spinning
No control, I've lost my head.
All of this is just beginning.
          Not enough,
          Never enough.
I'll only want to keep on dreaming.

Well are you such a dreamer?
          Put yourself in my shoes.
Careful what you wish for, love.
Well are you such a dreamer?
          Put yourself in my shoes.
Careful what you wish for, love.
I didn't realize how much that song fits Lois and Clark right now.

I've just seen the last scene again, and it's great that Smallville are using music at the end of their episodes again. They struck gold with this song...

This was such a great song for the end of the scene, the lyrics, sound and everything about it fit perfectly, along with Vast - Don't take your love away from me at the end of 'Bride', Smallville has been doing really well with the music this season

They fit very well too, which isn't always the case.
My thanks, too! I suspected that, exactly like Vast in Bride, that I would like the lyrics; Smallville seems to have a dab hand at setting music to the scene sometimes.

I took the ending scene as partially another little scene showing us a taste of future Clark, always late and with a lame excuse. They already did it once with Lois phoning him while he was feeding Shelby, not that he was admitting that that was what he was doing.

I agree that those two scenes were just about perfect with the music. It should be noted that they are also the two most powerful Clois scenes they have had probably ever in the show. While I think they are doing a great job capturing the mood with the music, I hope it will be a little more upbeat in the future.

Dreamer was an excellent choice of song as mentioned, the lyrics actually work with the scene which is not always the case.

Its a 'grown up / adult' song is all I could think as it played during the Clois scene. Beautifully done!
