the way arthur wasexplaining,that sylar only kills cus he cant get the power any other way,the hunger is for power not to kill, but how ddoes this explain why peter almsot killd two people , cus he can get power in other ways, so why did he go psycho on future nathan and his mum, maybe the three petrelli's have diffferent versions,that developed in different ways, peters always ben caring, and sylar been logical,they both need to learn from each other, they will b like arthur i think,will peter get his powers back, and how,it would be kool if the eclipse took arthurs powers, and gave peter his, it would be peters turn to kick some ass

Because that hunger wasn't for abilities, but for knowledge and to see how and why their brains were thinking that way. Simple answers to this question; 1) he has sylar ability when he absorbed Peter's ability; it's almost certain that Arthur has ALL of Peter's ability since he used so many of Peter's previous powers (Lightning, TK, Teleporting, Precognitive Pictures, and finally Sylar ability that was absorbed by Peter). Assuming that all the power he absorbs he has great control over them and understand their capabilities through his experience or perhaps he evolved kind of like how Matt evolved and became like his father.
2) Although it's unclear whether company or just Petrelli parents how they KNOW exactly what powers each of their family member has or other people probably because they have so much experience with other people powers since they caught so many for atleast 30-40 years(adam was held for that long).Comment
