Okay, I have a plethora of questions: Any answers are much appreciated.

1. I thought Future Peter came back because the heroes were being rounded up and experimented on. Now it's because everybody has powers and it divides the world?
2. How the hell is a bullet to the brain going to stop Peter when he has Claire's powers and is thus invulnerable?
3. Didn't he already have Sylar's powers (alllll of them) from a long time ago?
4. This is just a plot point, but did Sylar kill Nuclear Guy and get that power? I've forgotten...
5. Didn't Peter change the future when he came back and stopped Nathan from spilling the beans? How did he travel back with present Peter and show him what was going on?
6. I thought Nikki's sister was named Jessica. What's this Barbara nonsense?

I know I have more... this show is so confusing...

my thoughts:
1) Future Peters present (our future) got changed after Nathan didn't tell on them.
2) The Hatian was right there Present Peter knocked him down. They could have put something in his brain after she shot him because when Nathan was there the Hatian had left and FP didn't wake up
3) Peter (either of them) can only take a power in use. Sylar wasn't using that power anymore so Pete would only absorb the one he is using hence the TK
4) Yes he killed Ted and said how cool of a power he had
5) Angela told him he messed it up again he went back saw it came back to PP to see it
6) If that is the case there are 4 of them Nikkie,Jessica,Tracy & Barbra...maybe she was the mom or the original he cloned....that sound better.

Not true after all Peter's hands started glowing as soon as he met Ted Sprague and Ted wasn't using his power. Also the writers have stated that Peter has absorbed all of Sylars powers he just doesn't know how to use them all.

I don't think Jessica is a clone because if you look at the photo Linderman has of Jessica and Nikki they look different and appear to be different ages. Zimmerman said there were 3 Nikki, Barbara and Tracy.

very true Ted only had ONE power to take.....Sylar only uses ONE power at a time so Pete can only snag the one not the dormant ones. Pete can use more than one but Gabe can't...i would like a link to the WRITERS saying he took all of Sylars powers...obviously if he could or did he didn't need to take it again....really come on

Actually Sylar can use more than one power at a time, remember the episode where he killed his mom he was using telekinesis and his frost power at the same time.

As for the link I can't find it but there was this on heroes wiki:
In an interview with the show's creators and writers, they stated that Peter has absorbed all of Sylar's abilities.

If I can find hard proof i'll post it. I don't know if they included Sylar's Intuitive aptitude in this statement which seems Peter had to unlock by fixing the watch.

It wasn't the point of going to Sylar to get the power, but how to use it. He never knew or tried his "knowing how thinks work" ability. It was dormant.

My thought is Peter can not use a power he absorbed unless he know how the power works. He has Sylar's power to understand how things work, but like how Sylar was in the beginning, Peter doesn't know how it works, so it is like he doesn't have the power.

That is why when Peter went to future Sylar, he tried to use Parkman's power so that he can hear about how Sylar's power work from inside Sylar's head.

After he fixed the watch like Sylar instructed him, that is when he truly has Sylar's power, and Sylar's hunger.

The other question commonly seen after this episode is why does Peter need to cut other's brain out. He doesn't need to do that to find out about Nathan's power. I wonder too. I am guessing he tried to see how future Nathan came to be where he is. I bet if he had seen future nathan's head, he'd find Linderman's messing with it.

Also.. when Peter was trying to get that power it was almost like Sylar was blocking him.. maybe he just wasnt letting Peter get to it.

1 & 5. This future changed and now takes another path. Nathan telling the world caused an uprising- normal people feared the 'metahumans' and waged a war to take them down. Now a code with a mutating sequence is public and people want abilities.

When removed, function returns. However I do question that. When Claire was shot in the chest her body healed and rejected/ejected the novel object from her body. Why wouldn't this apply to the head. I guess it the frontal lobe location the brain that control for this.

3. He does, but he didn't know how to access the main ability...Sylar has one of the most complex abilities that can't be activated my emotion like the most of the abilities.

Several times now characters familiar with the healing ability have mentioned shooting the back of someones neck, I believe this is because that is where the brain stem is located, the critical junction between all functions of the brain and the spinal cord where the nerve impulses are then carried through the rest of the body. I can only assume that this also affects the powers of that person, since they are obviously controlled by the brain. So with healing power, if that area that controls the power is disrupted obviously it cannot repair itself and the body dies. Given Suresh's recent discovery about the adrenal gland (which I believe is located in the same area, near the Amigdyla) it may be this not the brain stem which needs to be damaged but you get the point.

The only problem I have with this is that when Claire and Peter "died" by having pointy things shoved in the back of their necks, they recovered when it was removed. I thought that this was because while they were in place they were preventing the brain from passing that signal, but a bullet would pass through and could then be healed afterwards. Maybe the bullet idea is simply wrong as we have never seen it work. Personally I think it would only work if you cut off their head.
