View Full Version : Hero or Hiro?

S1 Hiro was on the fast track to being a hero while sometimes falling into comic relief. It seems that S2 he had to stand up and be more of a hero. Now in S3 it seems that he's not really standing up to be a hero just yet. He's kinda bumbling around......

I really wonder what they are going to do with Hiro's storyline this season because right now I'm a little disappointed that they haven't given him more to work with. So far he's disobeyed his father, let half the formula get stolen (even after he confronted the thief), found the thief but still didn't get the formula back, got captured, and got a lecture from Ma Petrelli.

Anyone have opinions?

Yeah whenever I see him now I can only think of what he can screw up next. That's not good for his character.

I get the same feeling. And you're right it isn't good for his character. Like Ginx said. He was growing up and they've just did a 180. He's back to what he was before...This time instead of quoting Star Trek, he's quoting Spiderman. :\

I have faith that he will redeem himself, but he's monopolized a lot of screen time.
I think it's time to develop some other characters a little more fully.

even though Hero's character didn't continue to grow i still love him...i believe they have him acting like that for a reason

what i want to see more than anything is for him to tap into the serious samurai fighting skills he develops at the end of season 1 and in season 2. He has fallen back into the guy who is not much without his powers, even though he owns Adam back in the past. What would be cool is if/when he goes bad, he starts throwing punches and stuff. That would show he's serious

I know, right? In season 1 when he appeared my reaction would be something like: "YAY! It's Hiro!"

Now my reaction is:"..."

That's really sad.

I still like him, but they aren't giving him enough to do. And you're right, he is bumbling around. I couldn't put words to my feelings and you have. Thanks!
