ya so i bought a bible on cd that has voice actors and i found it so fitting that none other than terrence stamp was the voice of God! but its hard to take him seriously cause i always think of jor-el when i hear it lol especially when he says "this is my son with who i am well pleased" just sounds so smallvillish lol

Seriously? Awesome! Isn't John Schneider on one of those, as well?

Is that the one with Jim Caveizel voicing Jesus in English as well?

Do they still make/ship the CD to stores? Sounds like a cool church CD to have.

I was thinking about buying that the other day. I think I might have to buy it soon.

yes Jim Caveizel is jesus in it, there are actually many big name actors in it. its very good! i would suggest it to anyone who is interested in that sort of thing! it has not only voice acting but background noises like faint marketplace effects and crickets, it really takes the bore away i love it! i commute to work so i listen to it to and from work

Here's a few of the notable cast members, according to the official website...

Terence Stamp - God
Jim Caveizel - Jesus Christ
John Schneider - James

You can find the entire cast list at this link (http://www.thewordofpromise.com/wp1/actorsMain.aspx). Just highlight each actor to see their role.

Well considering the Superman-as-Jesus analogy, TS playing God seems very fitting. In fact, I wonder if that is one of the reasons why we never see Jor-el's face in Smallville - it suggests the wrathful God of the Old Testament.

They SHOULD show Jor-els face in the show! Else Clark would just know his birth father as a big demanding voice.
