Episode #3-4 Live Discussion/ Countdown Thread.......

First off, I am very happy Heroes is back. But so far this season is seriously lacking. I can deal with a jumbled up story line, thats the Heroes way, but I have two quick points.
1) The effects have turned b-movie. Did they changed VFX houses? Are they on a restricted budget. With the exception of the time lapsed streak left by Daphne the rest are rehashed and not very well done like they were in season one. The flying, the blue flame hands, the butterfly effect looked like they are right out of tutorials. This is not over analyzing..just in your face obvious.
2)My opinion and although she looks smoking, Hayden does not do a bad Claire well. Everyones acting seems to be a little over the top(more than usual)
Don't get me wrong. The show is still great but I think it has lost some luster.

Seriously I think you should just keep watching. Getting over critical and analytical kind of kills the moment in everything. This season is a hell of a lot better than S2, and starting to get as good if not better than S1 - that of course we will have to see as this season progresses.

If we over analyze ANYTHING, we will eventually find faults.

If I wanted to over analyze the episode I would have rewatched it over and over just looking for faults in the episode not just ones that jumped out on my the first time I watched it. And creators of a show should know the fans will "over analyze it" over and over again while they watch the dvds thats what fans do they watch shows and look at the little details to guess whats going to happen later in the show.

After only one viewing I honestly think the only things good with this episode was sylar with his son trying to be good so around his son then loosing control when his son died (I could see myself being future sylar if I had those powers) and hiro being forced to dig up adam to find the formula that I hope is destoryed before we get any more manufactured heroes they show be born with powers not made.

:) This is such a happy thread. Everybody's anxiously waiting for 'SHOWTIME'! :rolleyes: Well, you're all talking now, commenting on what happended in tonight's episode... :( AND I can't join in, because 'Heroes' was Prempted where I live for Monday Night Football Live!!! :( I wasn't even aware that it was going to happen until I put it on our NBC channel wait for 'Chuck' and then 'Heroes' and found myself watching the Pre-Game Show! :mad: I was appalled, to put it lightly! ...And so disappointed. :\

I DID learn that I'll be able to watch both shows next Sunday afternoon. :cool: Then I'll be back and try to catch up with all your veiws and opinions about tonight's episode. Talk to you later guys. Probably AFTER next Monday's episode airs, too. :D
