Here's my thought

Season One- Known for the meteor freaks episode and the whitney lana clark triangle
Season Two- Season of Drama, Clana, Cave Mythology, Origin
Season Three- The Darkest Season of Smallville ever, Lex/Lionel interaction, Clark and Lana breaking up, Lara, and the amazing season finale
Season Four- Possibly known as the worst season ever, Lois, Clois banter, The Stones, the awesome super season finale
Season Five- Clark stepping into the real world, Clexana, FOS, Death of Pa Kent
Season Six- Zod, Phantom Zones, Justice League, Lexana, Soap Opera
Season Seven- Known for many continuity and wrapping up other seasons' arcs, Bizzaro, Clana, Kara, Mythology, Lara/Zor-El, Krypton, The confrontation b/t Lex and Clark in the FOS, and the FOS falling apart

Season 1: The pilot!
Season 2: Developing of the powers.
Season 3: How dark the season was, and the awesome premiere.
Season 4: Possibly the greatest season, with the stones, Lois and Clark banter, and the awesome finale.
Season 5: Milton fine, and the death of Johnathon.
Season 6: Phantoms, Phantom Zone, Justice.
Season 7: Possibly the greatest season, tied with season 4. Veritas.

Season 1: Clark finding out he's an alien, his powers, and the effect kryptonite had on Smallville

Season 2: Clark finding out about his origin (where he's from), more powers, the caves, red kryptonite, and how there are people who he can't trust (Lionel)

Season 3: This is where Clark learns about ethics in using his powers in trying to save people in cases where laws would have to be broken (Lex) and bringing others to justice (Lionel) when several things are against him (even his own parents were concerned for his safety)

Season 4: This was about regression towards playing football and getting the stones (doing a bad job at that)

Season 5: This season dealt with the consequences of not being responsible (Clark losing his powers, dying, then having Jonathan die) and how it impacts everyone (Jonathan, the world with the Dark Thursday events, etc) along with a big portion of the downfall of Lex

Season 6: This dealt with Clark's responsibility in taking out lingering after effects from his irresponsible behavior from season 5 and oversight that leads to the creation of Bizarro along with Lana's continued mistakes from season 5 severely costing her

Season 7: More mistakes & regression for Clark, Lex's complete descent into evil, and a whole bunch of stuff that was left unfinished (the aftermath of Grant's death) and stuff that didn't make sense & contradicted previous seasons' events (Veritas plot)

2. naman/the fever letter/clana that made me want to throw things at the tv

4. chloe keeps the secret to herself/clalicia
5. the death of JK/chloe the sidekick
6. Green Arrow/the wedding
7. bad writing

1. A new way of viewing Clark Kent - as a 3 dimenstional teenager full of emotions, and how he feels about Lana... A new interpitation of Lex Luthor - a good young man, but we watch him slowly turn evil… New twists on the effects of Kryptonite… Younger Kent parents... The introduction of the great character Chloe…. The feel of living in that small town....

2. More of what we had in Season 1, but slightly better…. The additions of the Cave, Red Kryptonite, Dr. Swann, and the voice of Jor-el were great.

3. Overall, this was the worst season…. But I remember: Perry White. Relic flashbacks. Memoria flashbacks. Shattered was a great episode… That’s about it.

4. Introduction of Lois. Mxypltlk. Impulse. Dr. Crosby. Those 2 Alicia episodes. Graduation.

5. Fortress of Solitude. The death of Jonathan. Brainiac. Aquaman. Cyborg. Angel of Vengeance.

6. Green Arrow. The Justice League. Martian Manhunter.

7. Kara. Lara.
