Did anyone agree with Ollie in the bar scene? I thought that Clark could have said he's been through a lot worse yano?

Such as

Clark: You were stuck in an island? Try being stuck in a desert wasteland prison while floating in space! Now those phantoms will eat u alive dude!

Any other comebacks?

Let's talk again when you've watched your fiance and your dad die on the same day, you've been frozen in ice for a month and you've died yourself...twice.

LoL scifigirl... that's a good one.

Clark: "Let's talk when your friend shoots an arrow through your heart. Oh yeah, and let's not forget that I just saved your life..."

... Nah, Clark's too nice to say any of that - he's got tact, and well, Oliver was drunk. Let bygones be bygones, there are more important things going on in the world, as Oliver would so eloquently say... I think Clark knows it, too.

i thought it was really big of Clark not too say anything back. Oliver was just drunk and angry, and tbh he had a right to be so angry

i kinda expected Clark to defend why he hadn't told him better

so my line would be

Clark: i am so sorry that i couldn't tell you. but your right i don't trust you, and that's nothing to do with how brave i am. you nearly killed Lex once remember? i have tryed trusting people so many times but at the end of the day some information is just better left alone

Clark has needed good comebacks for ages.

I was cheering in Season 4 when Lana was *****ing Jason about keeping her out of the loop and he says "Remember that encounter with the electric sponge, I'd say that's some pretty good foresight on my part"

Thanks, I like your comeback, too. I agree that there are bigger things in the world; however, part of me hopes that Oilver apologizes to Clark in the near future (at least for the part of the rant that wasn't about CK not telling him about Lionel killing his parents).

Clark would never come back to anyone. It's not part of his character. We have only see him comeback to Lana in Siren and that was because he was really angry about the whole Bizarro thing. He also cameback in season 4, but that scene was deleted.

I think there is some truth in what Oliver told him, only that his timing wasn't good. Clark is finally starting to face his deamons, to move on with his life and become the hero he is supposed to be. I mean, he saw a powerless Clark risk his life (and die) to save a friend , so that has to mean something.

I also think that the reason why Clark didn't tell him about Lionel killing his parents was a bit lame. I mean, when did learn for sure that Lionel killed the Queens? I don't think he knew that until 'Traveller' and Lionel died soon after that.
