Oliver did not know?

with all Oliver's resources and his hatred towards the Luthors, I was totally surprised that the writers wrote Oliver as surprised and did not know that Lionel was involved in the Queens' plane crash? I guess they wanted to confront Clark and make him think, but come on now? After Oliver got back from his ''lost' style plane crash, if this were real, I have no doubt with his resources and wanting to know why the plane crashed, would hire top investigators to find out. Other observations-they should have put a wig on him on the island and have scruff-too unbelievable that his clothes were intact and his hair and face too neat. :confused:

Ollie didn't end up on the island because of a plane crash. He was partying on a yacht, and there was a wreck and the boat sank.

i wasnt surprised he didnt know... in fact, last season i made a thread asking why clark hadnt told him... i thought it was out of order
