Clark vs Chloe

It seems like ever since Chloe told Clark about her engagement, they're very snappy towards one another. It showed all through this episode.

Was Chloe hoping that he would profess his love for her and ask her not to marry Jimmy?

I'm not sure what was going on in the episode.
There was a lot of hostility though....

I think Chloe just seems to be hurting all around. Lois and Clark are becoming closer...in what was once considered her dream job. She knows she and clark cant remain as close as they've been in the past once she and jimmy get married...and then she has these new powers that she knows dont come from a good source.

I think she is jealous of Lois/Clark and she was trynig to be very blunt. Obviously not blunt enough....because as soon as clark flat out asked her "what are you trying to say" she backed off....and changed the subject.

Then when Ollie is dying...they fight over whether to take him to the hospital or not. Which, Chloe turned out to be right...but it was still more drama between the two.

I think this is the writers way of distancing them. They want different things right now, and sadly it seems to be driving a wedge between them. :(

The only thing Chloe did say, which I thought was warranted.....she asked him not to blame himself for her new powers...and it's her life. Clark was ready to get into a knock down drag out fight over her new abilites...while Ollie is dying in the next room. There wasnt time. So she let him know...there's no point in wondering and worrying whats going to happen....because there's nothing they can do about it.

As for Chloe wanting Clark to profess his love...I dont know if thats what she wanted, but it's obvious the girl shouldnt be marrying Jimmy.

Chloe is definitley jealous of lois and wants clark over jimmy now come on with clark and now even davis we see how WRONG chimmy is come on now- chloe with jimmy always seems like she's his babysitter or she's leading a puppy or something

I think its because Brainiac is taking over her body and we know he cant stand clark. So some of his anger is coming out. As for Chloe marrying Jimmy i dint think that will work out either!

How hell brainiac making chloe anger? It don't show brainiac mess with her, She will already have gray eyes start talk like him ok.

I hope it's not as simplistic as Brainiac taking over Chloe, but rather Chloe coming to terms of her own jealousy/anger. Clark was Lana Lana Lana Lana FRIGGING LANA forever. Now she's been gone for what, a few weeks? And he's already getting chummy close to her cousin, all the while Clark saying that she and he are best friends, all the while that at Lex's pre-wedding dinner RedK Kal says something to the effect "...don't think I haven't thought about it" to Chloe (I wonder if Chloe understands that RedK only gets rid of his inhibitions, not make him say something he doesn't believe).

It's much more interesting to the character to see Chloe react to her life and probable mistake of saying "yes" to Jimmy than being controlled by some other force and blaming her actions on "the Devil made me do it."

I'm a Chlarker, but I have to admit their relationship wasn't at their best in this episode.
Chloe was intolerant, she really pissed me off.
And Clark was...Clark.
Maybe she is jealous, she's been always jealous in what concerns Clark's relationships...
But she really has to cool it.

I have always thought that 'Don't think I haven't thought about it' bit was very sexy - gotta love Red K Clark. Or should that be Red Klark? :p

Also in transference when Lionel in Clark's body messed with Chloe's head - HOT!! (even though it wasn't Clark per se TW played that well)

About the Chimmy marriage, I think they are both rushing into it. Chloe obviously still has some feelings for Clark that she hasn't let go of, and now with Davis in the picture, there couldn't be a more worse time for this all to happen. I definitely think that Chloe should have come clean to Jimmy about the way she feels about Clark before they got engaged. That way they would have more time to think things through and have a stronger bond. Jimmy needs to learn to stop being jealous, or that will definitely become a factor this season.

ITA. I strongly believe Chloe needs to be with a man not a boy. Jimmy is more of the boy type. His actions and cute looks are more of what a boy would look and act like. Even though Clark may not yet be a man, He defintely looks like a hot one! Now Davis, he has the maturity and the looks of a man, so I wouldn't mind a Chavis pairing!

I mean, who wouldn't want Clark over Jimmy? I would choose a well built manly superhero over a maturing boy any day! Although, that is just my opinion.

I have no problem with Chimmy, infact I support them. It may not seem like it, but I do. I only want whats best for Chloe and I truely don't think Jimmy is. Chloe needs to ask herself if she can picture herself living with Jimmy for the rest of her life, or else she's going to grow up living with regrets.

Now to be a little more on topic; about Clark vs. Chloe. Yes, I do see that Clark and Chloe have been bickering a lot lately, and I do believe that some part of it has to do with Brainiac, but I also think that some of it has to do with Chloe as well. After all the years of trying to put herself out there for Clark, she knows that has to end. Maybe all this drama in her life right now (Clois, marrying Jimmy, meeting Davis) is having an impact on her.. but we'll soon find out for ourselves..
