When Chloe and Clark were arguing about Oliver Chloe said to Clark

"Clark if you were lying on the couch I would do whatever you asked down to the letter, I wouldn't hesitate".

Unfortuately, in Odyssey after Clark gets shot by Oliver's arrows, and Chloe comes running down the stairs to save the day, Clark says "No Chloe don't heal me". And then she goes ahead and tries unsuccessfully to heal him anyway!!!

Not that I'm complaining that Clark lived (God Love Him) but I just had to point that out.

And speaking of contradicting,when Oliver said that Clark wasn't fearless..that he was afriad...I don't recall Clark quivering or making any attempt to move when Oliver was pointing an bow and arrow at him. Even after the first shot,he stood his ground and STILL tried to talk Oliver down. But what do we know,huh?

Chloe is getting on my nerves and I usually love her. I wonder if that is supposed to be happening?

clark isn't afraid of getting physically hurt but he's afraid of the people he cares about getting hurt and people finding out his secret

I kind of noticed that too. :\. I remember thinking "uh....two episodes ago clark asked you not to save him, and you didnt listen."

yeah as chloe pointed out in season 6, clarks doesn't hesitate to run into a burning house to save people because he knows nothing can penetrate that iron flesh of his but when he has to put his heart on the line, the man of steel is nowhere to be found. Or something along those lines hehe.

I did pretty good memorising some of those words though from season 6 ep 16 promise :D lol

It's not quite the same thing though. Clark didn't want her to risk her life to save him from dying.

Her disobeying him on that one is not quite the same as following Ollie's wishes on not being taken to the hospital. She knew the possible outcome of her decision in attempting to heal Clark whereas she did not know the outcome of going against Ollie's wishes and taking him to the hospital.

My very first thoughts as she said that was "Yeah, right". :rolleyes:

And I imagine Clark was thinking the same thing, how she didn't hesitate to try and heal him despite the fact that he begged her not to.
