Where were olivers island buddies?

In the computer animation episodes of oliver queen on the island he got trained by the natives. Instead he met tess?

I was just about to start a thread on the same subject... I really enjoyed those CGI cartoons, and they gave Oliver a really good backstory... Did the prodicers just forget those and re-write Oliver's back story? It's a shame because one was a much better story than the other.

I wanted to see the natives but oh well. I'll just pretend that they were on the island but just weren't shown. In the course of two years only 3 or 4 memory scenes were shown so it is possible they were there.

They were there... We just didn't see them... Also Oliver got his hair trimmed by the natives!

i liked the fact that the natives were the one to train him on how to use a bow and arrow in the webisodes...this one was just i don't know...this one was like i need to survive...must make bow and arrow...practice and hey presto...

don't get me wrong justin performed great...but the island storyline should have been better...they could have found another way for oliver and tess to know about each other

Well they probably forgot what happened in the webtoon thing and they will probably say its not in cannon with the show now.

Actually I prefer Toxic > Chronicles since it's more in line and faithful to the comics. Funny I am starting to sound like one of those overzealous fanboys I stumble upon, must be my medication.
