Why do they keep making Hiro such an idiot?

Ok. he's supposed to be incorruptible and out to do good, a noble hero. So why do they keep morphing that into a bumbling buffoon. It's really starting to annoy me. Anyone else have the same feeling?

it is annoying me. i would rather be without the poor comic relief and see him learn from mistakes. from all the times they had messed up you think he wouldnt be as dumb. i hate when writers just make characters out to be morons so they can have things taken or bad things happen. it is lazy writing if you ask me

Besides the forced Ando tension, it seems he's much less buffoon now. He successfully found Daphne's HQ, then was able to place a tracking device on her, then came up with what would have been a successful plan to get his hands on the other half of the formula.

Because instead of growing him up like they started to do at the end of season two, they decided to instead pretend season 2 never happened and reset Hiro back into season one Hiro.

I want to know why they keep making quite a few of the heroes idiots! Claire was ok in S1 but she's gone downhill as a moron since. Peter has been all over the map and having some serious decision making issues. yes I know they're 'only human' and they are trying to show human error on the show - but sheesh these are supposed to be super people not the offspring of morons. :(

I don't know why he doesn't just go into the past again, tell Hiro what the secret is and tell him to keep it where it is... it wouldn't mess that much up.

Well she raised Nathan, who imo is one of the smartest (common sense wise) people on this show. But Peter......well you know my thoughts on him lol.

Ya hopefully Hiro starts to shape up and act right. I mean part fo why we love the guy is because he is naive and trusting and whatnot. He was just a nice innocent kid when he got his powers. Buy when crap got real he did step up to the plate and act like a man, but he was still his silly self. Hopefully they can find a balance between Hiro's natural silliness and naivete as well as the experience and wisdom that he has acquired.

I mentioned that to someone too that I thought he seemed more of an idiot than he should be. It is starting to get irritating seeing how he is in the future. But remember he only go like that when Ando was killed among other things so right now I guess he is still silly and moronic. I do kinda like the comic relief between him and Ando but just somethings he does is just too silly for someone with such great power. He just gets sucker punched and everything...lol c'mon

Ma Petrelli is just creepy. She's either really nasty mean to her sons, or resembles a cold fish, or she totally comes on to them! :eek: I think anybody would be a bit off with that kind of upbringing, lol.
