Well, when Clark went outside to be the hero, did anyone notice how filthy and smudged his shirt got? This is actually pretty normal. And kudo's to continuity when he returned to the Daily Planet, for he was still completly filthy, including his face being all smudged up.

HOWEVER, when he was called into the new bosses office, the moment he walked in, his shirt was not only completely SPOT FREE / WRINKLE FREE, but even his FACE and HAIR were perfectly clean and in perfect order again. He looked as though nothing had ever happened, and he was all cleaned up.

THIS must be a new Super Strength that we didn't know about. Or did I just notice a really huge blunder?

Did anyone else notice this?

Lois told him to go clean up before he went to the office. So, the shirt must be this new 'stain free' material where you can just wipe the stains off with a moist towel. Hey, maybe that's the fabric he'll use for his suit? :D

I do remember Lois telling him to clean up before meeting the boss. Do you know who you speak of? Clark with super speed and super breath. Who needs a laundry, just a restroom with running water.

The shirt was just made of normal everyday material though, he might have set it on fire if he tried that

Maybe what he did was just grabbed another one of that poor guy's shirt's off the peg and was like "Yeah this one's dirty"

This sorta bothered me but then Tess was super clean too so I guess they have magic going on there to stay clean ;)

Either that or some Shout Wipes!

I thought I saw some dark stains on his shirt. They were faint but I could've sworn they were there.

Yes, it was still dirty, but I wouldn't call those smudges faint.

i guess you could take it as a blunder or give the writers the benefit of the doubt that they want the fans to come up with there own conclusion.

It's simple if you base it on the series/superman in general. Clarks got superspeed as you already know, so being dirty one min and clean the next is beleiveable. Remeber when he traveled how many miles to go get lana maple syrup, he was there and back in no time, or what about when he went to that jungle while trying to find braniac. The speed of light is about 186,282.397 miles per second, so even if Clark moved at half that speed he's still be gone and back in less than a second. Lois meant clean up, like his face/hands, not go to dry clean the shirt and come back, a normal amount of time would be like 10 min to wash up, but Clark being able to move so fast was easily able to meet with Tess looking like nothing ever happened.

Now i'm not picking on anyone, i know there's been continuity issues before but in some cases you need to put logic into some things, by now fans should have a good grasp on Clarks abilities and what he can do with them, they don't need to film him giong to the dry cleaners, if put 2 and 2 together with regards to his abilities in many cases it's not always blunders or lack of continuity.

Clark's shirt still looked dirty to me. But even if it wasn't, I can think of a number of ways for Clark to have cleaned up before going into his new boss's office.

Yup, it was still dirty, although he could have rinsed the excess of filthy and then superspeed 2 laps around metropolis to dry it before going to see Tess and it was untucked when he talked to Lois and tucked when he talked to Tess, it was still semi-dirty.

He could have went home and changed into a different blue shirt in seconds. So let's just pretend that's exactly what went down.:D

Or Lois could have "appropriated" their coworker's second spare. I think he had more than one suit on that rack. Lois seems to have this thing for Clark stripping/changing clothes.

Hey, been a dreadful news week. We need to argue about something that will not impact the world negatively. Dirty shirt sounds like as good a topic as anything. with that in mind...it was dirty...it was clean...it was dirty...it was clean...:)

Tess changed into a different outfit and Clark's shirt was still dirty after attempting to clean up. Do you think we can discuss something a little more important?

Yeah. Where the hell is Shelby?

If you look real closely, you can catch a glimpse of Shelby in the reflection off of Tess' hubcap in "Toxic".
