How come nobody is looking for Kara, or mentioned her, especially Clark, after Brainiac said that "hed never see her again?"

Well, we can't say that nobody is looking for her, but it wouldn't fit anywhere in the episode. At least not in a place that would make sense given all the scenes from Plastique. They'd have to dedicate an entire scene to talking about Kara and that wasn't necessary in the episode IMO.

It'd be very random if Clark came out saying "Where's Kara" in the middle of nowhere.

Itd be kind of random and weird for there to be no mention of her at all though, until she reappears, for Clark could say to Chloe, "I'm still looking for Kara, but no leads," and have her help him offscreen, but a nod here or there in the next couple of episodes would show some more continuity when it comes to Kara IMO.

But then it'd be like they were jumping from topic to topic. The asking for Kara thing only takes up about one line and most Chlark scenes are nice and lengthy (in a sense), so they'd immediately have to talka bout something else after Chloe or Clark say that they have no leads on Kara. Or else, they'd need to write an entire Chlark scene dedicated to Clark searching for Kara or whatever.

So theyll be no mention of her again until she reappears towards mid-season, thats just what I'm asking and wondering.

well i just am mad that they're leaving her in the phantom zone. clark didn't like it there. im sure kara's gonna feel the same way. i know he doesn't know where she is but.... at least figure it out.

It is weird that Clark hasn't mentioned Kara :\

Yeah, i find it odd that she's not being mentioned in any way, and that everyone is just going about their day like everythig is a-ok.

I guess that on offscreenville there's a big search pary looking for her.

The lack of mention of characters missing (Lana, Kara, all those deceased in episodes past) is something of a SV tradition. I think that shortly after they came up with the No Flights No Tights rule, they must have made another rule expressly forbidding talk of the Gone But Totally Forgotten.

I'll wager that Kara, Lex, Lana, and Shelby are all out somewhere partying with Elvis and James Dean. They are taking turns wearing Clark's red cape from the "Action"' Episode.
