Well, after some friendly writer battering and casual taunting of the show i can finaly say i feel like there on the right track again. I did'n see the doomsday/chloe/Isis connection until now and it's a very plesant surprise!

Apparently the writers are building on from this angle so we get a superb season finale, and i also have a weird feeling that Chloe is going to die or at least have a very significant role in how this ends. The series is ending anyway so it really doesn't matter if the kill of any character towards the end. The question is, do they have the balls to do so?

This is how i reason this weird feeling. Doomsday HAS to do something very very VERY devastating and cruel to get everyones attention (especially CK's) so that the audience (us) really hate doomsday. And the only way i see this happening is if he/it kills Chloe.
We know it's not gonna be Lois or anyone of importance to the superman legend, and chloe is sadly the only expendable yet important enough character to get killed of.

Anyone agree or do you think im going mental?

Chloe has been left for dead many times, she's one of my favorite characters, but I agree. I think if Smallville goes for a season nine, then Chloe will die then. Either way, Chloe will most likely get killed off on the series finale, or close to.

I still vote lois, she is an unimportant part-timer on the series and has no relationship of depth with ClarkMan and is easily replaced with a newer, younger, better body, although I would admit that her passing would have very little effect on ClarkMan. 15 minutes of silence would be sufficient mourning by him for her.

i agree, and i totally love Chloe but somehow I could see her tragically dying before marrying Jimmy (and finding happiness ... why is it always that way?) Clark has finally rid his mind of Lana. I think doomsday killing Chloe would have much more of an effort on Clark.

I mean it's not like she becomes Clark's wife/partner/love of his life in the future or anything.

I definitely foresee something very bad happening with Chloe & Doomsday. I will never be fond of a human Doomsday (it's a good idea as long as they create this character specifically for Smallville without naming him Doomsday since Doomsday is a total monster), but the plot will be very interesting regardless.

I am very interested in how Brainiac's programming/logic that Chloe now has will play into this.

I agree. Something terrible will happen, I don't know if it's death, but it will be very profound.

This reminded me about a poster a while ago, saying about how this site is biased in favour of a character and it seems hypocritical that all the other characters than this one get deathwishes by people on this board....right SueB?

^ Yeah I find no reason why some people want Chloe dead. Maybe because some of them feel like Chloe is a threat for their favorite couples? Come on!!! Nobody has to die, why does some people like the dead of a character? And Chloe's character has been in Smallville since it started! Nobody has to die.

Nobody ever said they wanted Chloe dead. Actually read what's written on the thread before commenting.

My point was that i personally had a feeling that the writers could kill of Chloe towards the enda of the series to state the seriousness of the situation CK would face. And i justified my feelings beacause Chloe is an expendable character and the series is ending anyway.

How on earth did translate that to People want Chloe DEAD???

Chloe is one of my favorite characters and the best actor on smallville, and i would never want to see her get killed of, but that doesn't change the fact that the writers may be thinking about it or maybe already decides so!

My feelings or inklings do not dictate how the show will end or how the writers will write.

I recommend you use more than 2 seconds reading on a thread before commenting!

I don't think they'll kill Chloe. She's already turning her life in a different direction than the Daily Planet. It looked to me like Davis was attacked by something in that alley at the end of the episode.

Umm, they can and did kill Superman, they certainly can kill Smallville's version of lois, easily.

I think Ardiem3 meant thay can't permanently kill Lois beacause of the superman legend. If they killed Lois in the series it would be for a short period, just like the times CK/Superman has been killed.

Killing Lois would mean career suicide for the writers of the show. Not likely to happen.

Davis wasnt attacked by anything, he was transforming back from Doomsday, to Davis.

I think for Chloe to die from the hands of 'doomsday' davis would have to have a pretty bad nightmare/seizure... I dun think any1 will die, just be kidnapped or left on a knife's edge come season finale.

We don't know which way they are going to go with Doomsday. Doomsday was created in the comics anyway by a scientist who kept on shooting Doomsday to krypton when it was inhabited by some of the most dangerous creatures in the universe. Doomsday would fight them, die and then the remains would be collected and then regrown again and sent back and back. Kinda the reason Doomsday hated Superman was because he sensed that Superman was kryptonian and it was on Krypton it suffered so much.

How they will do it on Smallville...meh who knows personally I would have preferred bring in Darksied, that would have been a good way to get Clark moving.

Though I'm a Cloiser I really like Chloe as a character and I wouldn't like to see her dead. I mean, in the mythos Clark is in love Lois and Lana is his friend. But, since KK isn't coming back for more than 5 seasons they could "replace" Lana with Chloe. This way she can live a happy life with Jimmy and once in a while just help Clark and also visit her cousin.

That been said...there's a AM interview where she says someone will get killed http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=i-MHWqp5ens ..:\

Whow! I didn't know about this interview! Now im definitely sure she's dying! I mean you could see it in the way she answered the question "your not going to die are you?" Chloe answers: "maybe" in a very weird way

^ Allison said about if she's going to die:"we'll see". Because the "tear power"(heal power) is not gone at all, so I think she's talking about the episode 6 or maybe 8 or 9, you can see that this interview was made 2 weeks ago before the premiere of Smallville, when they were filming Prey, so, maybe, because this episode will be pretty violent, she somehow uses her heal power and "die" just like happened in Fracture, she wasn't alive for 18 hours. So she can die and come back to life so easily. I seriously doubt she's going to die this season, AM said she was contract for all 22 full episodes, even she'll appear in the episode she'll direct, so I think she'll die but come back to life in one episode.

I didn't know that. Well...it only makes me happy, because I'd really miss Chloe (and AM). This is starting to feel like season 5 all over again :D (Remember Reckoning?). If AM is in for a full season 8 and probably 9, maybe she'll die trying to heal someone but fail. This way..she'll "die" for a few hours (because she'll use her powers and that will make her weak but they won't be enough to save that person) and one of the characters will actually die:\..

ETA: I miss John Schneider:D

I agree, that could be a possibility. But you never know what the writers are thinking, i guess we just have to wait and see.
