Did anyone notice that they now have a new set for the hospital for Metropolis, compared to the black and white tiles of Smallville's hospital from seasons 1-7? I like the new set with the blues and the whites and it feels more like a hospital, and just seems more nice compared to the cluttered, and sometimes, cheesy looking hospital of the past. What do you guys think?

It looked surprisingly familiar since it supposed to be in "Metropolis."

Yeah, I noticed the new Hospital set, too. It's been About Time they had another hospital set. However, I actually liked the soothing color scheme and cozy atmosphere of Smallville Medical Center. What irked me, though, was in S6's "Rage" when Lois was injured in her skirmish with Green Arrow in Ollie's Apt. in Metropolis, when she called 911 for an ambulance, she was taken to Smallville M.C. Then when Lex was in Detroit in S7's "Fracture", and was shot in the head, instead of getting quicker life-saving treatment at Detroit's best hospital, he was 'air lifted' to S.M.C. in Smallville. I thought that was Ridiculous! So, Yay! for the new hospital set. They won't have to do obvious impractical things like that again because of an inadequate set budget.

I also liked it but I remember the one in the episode Cyborg that seemed different... or am I wrong?

The only thing that keeps bugging me is the Talon, and I'm not talking about the set, I'm talking about the closeness it has with metropolis, even though it's on SMALLVILLE!!!

Even Bette said to Chloe in a scene on the Talon apartment: "I'm leaving metropolis" and it seemed wird because they were really on Smallville.

Really, how long it's Metropolis from Smallville now? Clearly not 3 hours-long now...

It doesn't really matter anyway, beacause the characters get randomly sendt to the hospital of the writers choice. Remember when lex got shot in metropolis and was sent to smallville hick hospital?

They only need a new sign and a bucket of paint and voila!

my friends and i have a tradition of yelling out " SMALLVILLE MEDICAL CENTER!!" every time the show goes there (which is a LOT)...i admit it was odd yelling out "METROPOLIS MEDICAL CENTER!!"

They cant just change big sets all of the time, because if that were the case, wed still have the Kawatche caves, but thats now the Fortress. Since they wont really be much in Smalville anymore, we now have the Metropolis Hospital.
