Last week we had Clark talking about leaving it all behind and letting go of everything. Embracing his destiny. I'm all for it. I think that the time as a mere mortal with still the spirit to continually fight back against the people that were holding him at the work camp is part of the reason he decided that life before just isn't right. People with no powers fight back all the time but don't have the strength to neccessarily win. So Clark has turned from hiding his powers to wanting to help everyone. And I couldn't be happier. I know there was another post that said it's happening to soon, or that it's taken so long and now seems forced, but Clark had a long time to soul search and he didn't let the loss of his powers stop him from fight or trying to save Chloe.
Now we have Chloe giving up her Journalism. She's always been more then just a report. Sure she's curious but she's always been curious for the truth and only cared about her words helping people. She believed in the power of the pen, but now a bit more disillisioned at the way print can be manipulated she has the same mission but a different method. She still helping people and I'm ok with that because she's never been just a reporter to me just as Clark's never just been a farm boy.
