What team is Tess putting together

I'm just curious as to what evil gang of meteor misfits she's putting together, who are they and whats there purpose

let me guess, a clash with the JLA just before seasons end which will be DOOMSDAY, which also means for another season, clark will temporarily die!!!

In the comics Plastique was in the Suicide Squad, but i would love to see the Legion of Doom.

You're right, I'd love to see Mr. Myxptlk again, since his story was left in air. I think it would be really nice to see a team formed by Clark's old foes.

Perhaps Lex decided to have an entirely new kind of bodyguards to do his dirty work. It will be cool to see some kind of Legion of doom against the JL.

Since it features Plastique & not Lex, I'm guessing Suicide Squad, but they'll probably call it something else if they even have a name for it. Tess thinks she's a good guy, so probably not Injustice Gang, & they would need a lot more supervillains than they have for the Legion of Doom (not to mention a flying Hall of Doom that looks not unlike Darth Vader's helmet).

I agree it'd be cool to have a few meteor freaks in Lex's/Tess' Luthorcorp army. Personally, I wouldn't mind another return from Eric Summers (a scene with him and Jimmy would be funny), or bring in Mikhail Mxyzptlk, Sean Kelvin, Ian Randall, or Eric Marsh (complete with Kryptonite inhaler, of course).

I bet there is no name for it, or some project code name, but someone like Chloe or Lois name it the "Injustice Gang." Or, they are all from Suicide Slums so someone nicknames them the "Suicide Squad."

I was wondering about this too. I agree it would be great if they assembled a team of the old meteor freaks from past episodes to become villains for this season. It would be cool to see some of those guys again.

Suicide Squad is what Plastique was a member of in the comics. However, I have a feeling it will be named something with Injustice in it (Injustice League or Gang).

It was funny, last night following Smallville I watched Justice League: Unlimited and it featured Bette/Plastique as a member of Task Force X (with Rick Flag, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and Clock King).

Lex would totally justify the name Injustice League as people who fight injustice.
Legion of Doom would be people who fight against the alien bringing Doom.

He would consider these people heroes for fighting against Green Arrow's "Terrorists" and bringing them to Justice.

I think we're gonna get a big showdown.

I think we're gonna get a big showdown.I'd love to see a grand battle royale for the last 10 minutes or so in the final episode; just pull out all the stops and let everything go to hell. Clark vs. Doomsday, the Justice League vs. Lex's mutant army, "good" and "evil" meteor freaks fighting each other...basically Smallville's version of Armageddon. then, at the very end, a weakened, bruised, battered, and nearly-shredded Clark would deliver one final punch, silencing his beastly opponent for good. We could then fade out, to a moment where Clark's in a suit and glasses, and hears a cry for help. Pan down to the famous shirt rip, revealing the iconic shield...and that's it. Roll the "executive producers" credit!

The names "Legion of Doom" and "Injustice Squad" are from super-villains teams to do evil. Tess is not building a super-villain team.

It's pretty obvious that the name should not be one of those two.

With Plastique on it it's gotta be Suicide Squad (I ever was half waiting for a reference from Tess in the cell with Bette).

But they'll probably never name it, just make a sidebar reference to it (note they never actually referred to Bette as Plastique at any point in the episode).
