Am I the only one who thought this was sexual reference she made? I know when I heard it that's the first thing that came to mind!:rotfl:

Yeah, I think that was her intention. Especially after seeing Clarks reaction to that comment.

It came across that way to me too. She was clearly flirting with Clark.

Yes... the thought did cross my mind. :o
I loved Clark's reaction -it was as though he was trying not to look shocked. It was a funny moment.

I liked Clark's reaction too. He seemed all confused by what she just said and didn't know how to react!
That Tess is really starting to grow on me.

Delivery on the line was hilerious.
Clark was either confused by what she said or to shy to respond incase he looked like an idiot.

It was an entertaining moment, sexual tension and awkward silences for the win.

Clearly, she and Lex had been contact before his disappearance. She said as much. I think her "to do " list is why he, an inexperienced reporter wannabe go the job he got. She needs to keep an eye on both Lois and Clark and putting them together might make that task easier.

Ditto here as well. She is a cold character but she is also a hot woman.Until her assistant walked in,i thought they were palnting the seed for Cless. Then they made the best move for the show. They showed us that above all else she is a villain.

I didn't see it as sexual. She wants to find Lex and Clark used to be his good friend. Maybe it was supposed to be sexual, but it didn't really come accross like that to me.

^^ She remined me alot of Lana. Devious, coniving and most of all a villain that was one of the biggest threats to Clark and his destiny :rotfl:

I totally caught that, especially when they showed to look on Clark's face!
After that scene, I now believe that Clark got hired as a reporter with no experience because Tess wants him where she can keep an eye on him. If he were in the mailroom, it would look strange for the big boss to be keeping tabs on him, but as a reporter with the "intrepid Lois Lane," Tess can be way more involved in his life.
I think her To-do list was:
1. Close down Black Creek and "reassimilate guests"
2. "Take care of" Regan
3. Start gang of meteor-enhanced and/or meta-humans to neutralize Justice League
4. Hire Clark Kent to fill empty desk next to Lois Lane
5. Seduce Clark Kent

I think you're right about Tess hiring him to keep a close eye on him. If I'm not mistaken she did say she was going to watch over him personally to her assistant. She is devious in how she played nice and once he left the room she said "he's lying" ! Like whoa!
I like your to do list.

Yeah. well... I can pretty much read sex into anything.
"Pig in a blanket". See? It works with almost anything.
Anyway I don't like the way Clark nearly gave it all up before leaving her office with what amounted more or less to a veiled threat. How is a corn-husker gonna realistically expect to intimidate a person in power like that?

Oh yes she was, can you blame her?lol I would too if I were her hehe I guess thats why she will keep a close eye on him, personally ;) I am sure her eyes are not gonna be the only things she will keep on him lol

I'm sure it won't be a chore to keep her eye on Clark. I think Clark handled it well when she said Lex told her about him. I could see just a little panic in his eyes. I didn't catch the to do list part but now that it is mentioned, I can see it.
