I think that Clark is movin' on...but slightly opening his eyes of what could have been w/ Chloe. Anyone else have that feeling or maybe think differently?

i think he's thinking about what coulda been, and realising it's time to move on.

i think when clark said that people who need the most help push people away the hardest (or something like that), that was a foreshadowing of chloe in this season.
*sigh* they are so cute together...i need to take it in a little more lol

I liked the Chlark scenes especially the hug, but Chloe should've made Clark feel better after she went on about saying that her life will change after she gets married to Jimmy...
Even if they will be friends, she should've told him that she'll be there for him as long as it doesn't cause a rift in the Chimmy marriage. But she didn't. She just hugged him after she said that...

I loved the end scene with them. Not as much as I loved the Chlavis scenes, but it was still cute.

I'm probably alone in that I didn't like the last scene. What Chloe said seemed out of whack somehow.
No matter how ambivalent I might be about the expected change of a deep friendship when I marry someone else, I would honor the friend by telling him/her. This actually happened to me: I told the person, and our relationship eventually did change. But I could not have faced myself in the mirror every morning unless I was the person who broke the news.
I didn't get Chloe's facial expressions; they seemed a grotesque echo of her S1/S2 bravado, almost cruel. Clark reacted about the way I'd expect: hurt because he'd found out from a stranger, sad because his deepest relationship was about to change, but basically okay with Chloe finding happiness. I could see this distancing them right away.

I am fairly certain that Chloe will fall for David and there will be a Chlavid

I think she is preparing Clark for an end to their relationship. She looked ambivalent to me. Part of her wants to remain Clark's BFF and part of her wants him out of her life. Which part will win out? Maybe we'll know in epi 10 or even before? Or maybe I'm imagining things.

I mentioned last week that the absence of a final Chlark scene in Odyssey was foreshadowing by PS3.They are pushing towards an end to the Clark-Chloe relationship. In my opinion it is a bit aggressive and unecessary at this point.I can understand the reasoning behind it.Chloe is huge fan favorite and Lois is disliked. And no matter how you slice it,Superman ends up with Lois, not Chloe. However,at this point of the series, they are trying to shove down our throats a character who has not been well written for the past 4 years. It's not Erica's fault,it's the writers' fault who have not given us any reason to like her more than Chloe. The simple fact that people warm up more to the idea of Chlavis than Clois speaks volumes.

I don't think Chloe is entirely herself.
Often, I have a difficult time understanding EDLois' enunciation, and probably miss some of her better lines. Either she speaks too rapidly, slurs some of her lines, or my mind refuses to listen to her.

I got the feeling that Clark was a bit jealous & maybe even a little disappointed that Chloe is engaged to the Jimster.

Absolutely, and I'm definitely ready :) The only clean cut, though, is Chloe's death. I mean, Jimmy's gonna hang around, so the missus won't be going anywhere alive.

yeah, I think that one was pretty obvious by the way those two were acting, it was an instant connection even when Chloe called him back and left the voicemail message at the end

I agree! I think lois is a much better written character now, but still not at its height and it does seem forced her and Clark working together and being partners and her being nice to him at times and crushing on him! I mean come on!
The people have warmed up more to the idea of Chlavis than Clois, and that does speaks volumes!!!!

I like this and did not know anything about a final scene in Odyssey but I do get the impression that 'they' have got to end the unspoken relationship between ClarkMan and Chloe. Having disliked lois from her first appearance, she appeared very toned-down this season in terms of her basically obnoxious and dislikeable self and in that sense, a good thing. Chloe on the other hand, is still the super girl but I don't think that even the new PTB have the courage to have her replace lois and the most simple way out is put Chloe's interest in someone new and try to make the audience forget why so many have disliked this version of a lois lane. From my standpoint, lois is better but she has a long way to go before she earns a capital 'L' from me.
