I liked the injustice gang/society/league reference. Not sure which one it would be as there have been a few, but I don't think Plastique has actually been a member of any of them, but that doesn't really matter. She can be in Smallville's. It could be the Suicide Squad though, and the injustice comment could have just been to make us take note.

My guess will be some new type of villian group that gets a group of the older more stronger meteor freaks and throws in a few more well known DC Villians and pits them against the Justice League but regardless of anything i feel that the Manhunter and Parasite should be included as they would make for some great villians.

I think it would be the Smallville version of the Legion of Doom, because when Tess she wants Bette to be part of her team of super-powered beings...I had Legion of Doom schecthed in my mind the entire time through that scene.

This is so cool! I really, really wanted to see this back in season six when they reintroduced the 33.1 storyline. As someone else mentioned, it would've been great to see Lex lead the group! Tess was quite creepy though, and she seemed in some twisted way to believe in what she was saying, so it totally seems like a Mercy Graves type of character who's been brainwashed by Lex.

My question is this then: do you think she'll mention somewhere that this was Lex's next plan and she's just following up on it? Maybe Lex planned this whole "team" thing out already and she is just the one who is "privileged" enough to carry out his "legacy"?

The guard mentioned that Lex would've had the girl "terminated" and Tess said "I saw the awful things they did in that place and shut it down", but do you think that means that Tess is more compassionate than Lex, or simply hiding the fact that she's really doing everything according to Lex's will, his last plans before he went missing? Could they even be in contact and nobody else knows?

Either way, I REALLY hope they do the legion thing! How could would that be?!!! I agree like for the season finale or a season or two leading up to it...well depending on this is going to be the last season or not...man if this is the LOD they definitely have so many options with the show. And a LOD eppy would be great. Justice was really awesome...but "Doom" would be even cooler!

If they never get to have Batman/Bruce Wayne on the show, they should at least make a dialogue reference to him, and many other DCU characters that couldn't be on the show.

It would be epic to have a one or two episode arch with the JL fighting a team of villains.

Yeah, that'd be incredibly epic, but I say why stop at one or two episodes of JL fighting the villains? Why not have little squirmishes with them, small battles, be they physical or mental, until it all unleashes in the aforementioned two episode arc as a big season finale!

I was going to say , but yes I read all the responses, I do agree that I'd like to see something come from 33.1 or summerholt, or whathaveyou, but mr mtxlpltlyk? spellcheck please, was not part of said legion if I remember correctly, but brainiac and bizarro are, the scarlet speedster has been on smallville, so let's say that captain cold and gorilla grodd could presumably make an appearance, but that would mean that there really is a race of superintelligent gorillas living somewhere out there, a theory I would not go against if I met grodd on the street. The toyman is part of superman continuity, so let's say he could be on it, ac has been on the show much, so I say it's time to see black manta, seeings is ac was supposed to have his own wb/cw show but bats , gl and ww, aka eva longoria? have not established themselves on the show, so having giganta, cheetah, the riddler and the scarecrow , sinestro and solomon grundy would be a little premature. this is all dependant of course on if she ment this group, they could make up a new group just for this show, which would probably make the most sense, so you couldn't predict it

I think that introducing a group of supervillians is totally awesome, and I really hope it leads to a showdown between this team and the Justice League. Can't wait to see where this storyline goes.

I don't think that they'll offically call it the Injustice League, I mean they haven't said the word justice League on screen. It's always Oliver's team/gang of bandits. The only time its called the Justice League is on episode descriptions and spoilers. I didn't catch the Injustice line but it seems right. Smallville is nothing if not good at foreshadowing.

Anyway I know that the Legion episode that is coming up has to do with the Legion of superheroes from the 31st century. so I doubt they'll call it the Legion of doom. Other options are Suicide Squad, and Secret Society. Whatever they choose I doubt will hear it said on screen, however I guess that's not neccisarily a bad thing, while a team of heroes might want to have a name to go by, its not the best idea for a secret group of villains to run around broadcasting their existence.

I don't know if I would have considered her a villain at first or not. She was a member of a royal family on another planet, who came to earth to find a suitable mate. She wanted to marry Superman, and would stop at nothing to do so. He, or course, rejected her, which really made her mad. Maxima was an anti-hero. She wants Kal, she has a mean temper, and she'll bust up anyone who pisses her off. She was part of the Superman Revenge Squad for a while, but she was also member of the Justice League When Superman first fought Doomsday, so it's all too fitting that she's in this season. She's dead now; at least as dead comic characters go
