I saw that and I have to say I don't know what the hell happened. Was it a trick gone wrong?

He just jumped off attached to a bungee? How is that a death dive? If it was a stunt gone wrong then what was supposed to happen?

All I have to say is I was greatly disappointed that I waited that long to see that......what had me laughing though was the announcer saying "omg that was so amazing" I swear that sounded so fake :rotfl:

Yeah, wtf? And at the end when he floated off and "dissapeared" into the night sky!?! I only hope he's never to be seen again!!!

When he floated away it was chessy as hell.....I think Chris Angel is laughing his ass off after watching that!:rotfl:

Chris Angel has always been awesome, while David Lame sucks more than words can describe.

Did you see when Lame (Blaine) was supposedly frozen in a block of ice, yet he had a little chair and some food in there with him? I think they pre-empted the news for that one as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I saw it! and I totally agree with you that Chris Angel owns!

It was supposed to be sealed but somehow he got food and he even had enough room to put his black shirt on during the whole thing. He just sat there for 60 hours....that's all he did. Impressive I guess? Since I wouldn't do that lol...... It's totally rigged for sure and I just remembered another part of the show that I failed to mention...

The bullet catch! how lame was that? The only part I liked was his disclaimer not to try it because it is very likely you will die.....the way he said it in his monotone voice had me rolling!

The bullet catch was ok, i guess. Better than the (death dive), but i'm not completely convinced it wasn't CGI. I find it hard to believe Blaine would have the balls for anything so dangerous.

I've been reading and a lot of people think he was attached to hot air balloons and they were supposed to release them as soon as he jumped so that it seemed as if he disappeared in mid air or flew away. He floated away because of the hot air balloons...at least that is the assumption.

I enjoyed the show as a whole but the two big stunts left me disappointed. It's funny too because later that night Criss Angel handcuffed himself to a car steering wheel with the car breaks cut and the car rigged with explosives and he had 13 seconds to uncuff himself and get out of the car before the car went into the big ditch and exploded because of the bombs.

He didn't get out and the car was on fire and Kurt Angle and the guy from godsmack as well as everyone else there was in shock and think he died. Epsiode ended that way ......so don't know what happened yet!

What?!?

Cliffhanger!!!

Didn't know about that one! And i'm sure your right about the hot air balloons, since I didn't hear any helicopters, and all I could hear was the announcer proclaiming how great that phony Blaine is at the top of his lungs.

I used to be "Wowed" by David Blaine until Chris Angel came along.
Now Chris makes him seem like David Lame. David's low monotone voice makes him almost unbearable now. :\

----- Added 5 Minutes later -----

As for David's bullet catch, I thought even his attempt at something like that being televised was an insanely horrible decision by him, and the network. I don't care how many times you stress for people NOT to attempt this at home, you still get dumbasses that think, "Hey that looks cool," and would think about doing it.
I think it's lousy decision making. Any tricks where a gun is involved, should not be promoted. :\

It was the dumbest thing I ever saw.

I didn't watch it but got enough info from other blogs and websites to know that his trick did not go as planned and he was supposed to do some other ending blah blah - none of his stunts interest me.......

Chris Angel is interesting but he's dirty lol so it's kinda hard sometimes to get lost in the 'magic' aspect of it.....

[side note, I love your avi thmallville lol!!! It never stops being funny where that little sparta head pops up!!! These are happy trees!!!!! hehe]

 I magically found his show one day in like 7th grade, and I have been enamored ever since!

Did anyone see Best Week Ever? They made fun of the "Death Dive" .. actually they re-named it the "Tepid Bungee Jump of Diminished Expectations", which made me lol for like 3 hours :rotfl:
