I truly laughed hard during the "talking turtle" scene.
I did notice the product placement in the following scene where Matt asked to borrow the new painter's (don't know what to call him yet) cell phone, the painter said "Don't get service out here, I should have gone with Sprint".
Next week I can use this avatar (remember the One Week Rule).

I also thought it was hilarious that the turtle appeared to be talking to him. At least Parkman acknowledged it was crazy - even after everything he's seen he still has some sense lol.
I think we need some avatar's as a GOT MILK ad for Mohinder. Or a t-shirt wearing roach with 'team mohinder' on it lol.....

I thought he probably read the turtle mine. Wonder if he can read animals mine?
^ahhaha....that would have been funny if he could read the turtle's mind. But then he'd be turning into Doc. Doolittle and I'm sure that the Heroes writers etc don't want to go down that road with Parkman....

I was hopng that it was him communicating with the turtle telepathically... that would be a cool extension of his powers. I was disappointed to find out it wasn't. *heh*

It would be funny, but, the problem with him actually communicating with a turtle (or any other animal/critter) would be that the turtle would have to be intelligent enough to formulate coherent thought.
IMO, that would be too "Disney" for Heroes.

That part had me laughing outloud! :rotfl:
At first I thought, "Awww man.... he's really hearing the turtle's thoughts."
Then the African dude's Sprint plug made me laugh even more. :D

Yes, that was a funny scene, and comic relief is very welcome in a generally serious story like this.
(And yes, I too thought he was hearing the turtle, I thought that his power had advanced further, and I was trying to ascertain whether a turtle would be smart enough to know that a man in a desert needed water; sad, I know :p)

I honestly thought that that scene was pretty cliched, but forgave it because of cool Afro-Isaac.

It was less cliched-feeling, I think, because Matt can read minds. Otherwise, yeah, we've all seen guy-thinks-something-is-talking-to-him-because-he's-delirious scenes. But I guess it worked better here because (a) he's a mind-reader, so you're kind of wondering if it's for real or not, and (b) it's Matt Parkman; he's great for comic relief :-)
lol at Afro-Isaac, by the way.
