View Full Version : Possible Claire Plot Hole?

In FYG, Sylar kills Claire.
In the Premiere, Sylar reveals that Claire cannot be killed.
Claire's conception occurred at a point in time which both timelines share, so the nature of her powers should be consistent across these timelines.
Thoughts?

maybe her power has been growing all along? i mean the fact that she can no longer feel pain shows that it has changed, even if it has changed only a little bit.... perhaps she is more regenerative than she was when her death was shown...

But FYG was five years post Petesplosion, and now it's only about 1 year afterwards. If anything, it should have grown further in FYG.

very true. my bad. i cant remember how they showed her dying but the only way she could be killed is by chopping off her head....

He opened up her scalp, just like in the Premiere.

^^^They never showed her dead...just that he took her power...she was proly just fine afterwards unless he removed her head but they didn't show it so it didn't happen. Just like hiro thought that claire died when sylar took her power at homecoming but she didn't...noah hid her and let everyone think she was dead...well almost everyone.

Ah, I remember that now. It's pretty clear the intended effect is that she's supposed to be dead, but given that we don't actually see her afterwards, I guess they can retcon it sans- plot hole.
Well that was resolved fairly quickly. Thanks guys!
