I love that William Katt was cast as the reporter for episode #2. Too bad he kind of froze up toward the end there, lol.
Oh....lol.... that's what you meant in the other thread. I saw him freeze and then it just didn't dawn on me that it was that same guy lol..... too much to process..... lol......
at least he died cool.... ok wait that was not meant that way.....

That scene was pretty cool. William Katt's acting was amazing.
I reminded me of that one scene from The Dark Knight when that Reese guy made the threats to Lucius and how persistent he was. But they're probably not related in any way since that scene was probably shot before those TDK scenes were released.

William Katt was Great & it was a great scene. I'm just sorry that he had to die so soon. I'd thought for a split second that she would do something to his Lap Top, of course, that was before we all found out that this New 'Nikki' (forgot her new name) had the ability to freeze things. It's just that She looked so surprised to have done that, like she wasn't aware of her ability. Anyway, we can have some hope, because no one usually Stays dead on "Heroes".
The Greatest American Hero where he belongs! Loved It!

Hmmm....
I haven't watched it again yet, I decided to wait for the Commentary on the website.
But, I did notice there were no bones or hair mixed with the ice (or was there?) Perhaps he had a power like turning into liquid. He was "melting" into the storm drain.

He was the star of one of the best (IMO) superhero TV series of the '80s.
(co-starring Connie Sellecca growwwwl!)
"The Greatest American Hero (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081871/)".
He was given a "Super Suit" by aliens, but he somehow lost the instructions on how to use it. (See the summary in the link above).
Later he became a co-star in several TV movies based on the original TV Courtroom drama "Perry Mason".

I could be wrong but I think Katt's mother played Perry Mason's gal friday, Della Street, as well.

Yes, Barbara Hale/Della Street was WIlliam Katt's mother.
That is unless... unless it really was Angela Petrelli!
:p

I loved how he called her an "ice queen" seconds before his death... a great guest appearance, though... and Bruce Boxleitner to boot... Ali gets all the good guest stars (well, except for George Takei).

Well, they did focus on the drain for a lot longer than they should have lol.... I started to think - uhm ok he's dead, stop focusing on the drain......

I thought the exact same thing Steve & Rosa!
What if he has the ice power, and used it as a defense mechanism, to escape. You never know.... could be. ;)
