:lol: Well I thought that at first too, although him starting to transform at the end of the episode reminded me more of The Fly. Although at the Spider-Man cartoon from the 90s, there was an arc called the Neogenic nightmare, where Peter Parker literally turned into a human spider.

That was a good set of two episodes :). But why do I get the feeling that we will have even more flashforwards and time travel than we have in the previous two seasons combined :p.

I disagree, they totally needed a 2 hour premier after a long 9th month wait to get people pumped again. We got jipped by a half of season due to the writers strike. Very good marketing IMO and much needed to give people a big jolt.

I also think they needed a good start to draw the audience back in.... sooooo goood too. Sure it was overload but that's half the fun. It's like watching the first season of Lost - all the clues, all the things to look for - did you spot the Godsend symbol?

I for one am happy with the overload - just need time to digest now and watch again tomorrow.

The two-hour premiere was awesome! It was a lot to process, but I loved it.

My thoughts:

Elle in the premiere was amazing. I really loved how her power went berserk like that and she was able to put a stop to Sylar. Sucks that Bob died before she got motivated, but it makes sense I guess. I loved how Sylar taunted her with the gun when he said, "Remember your daddy could do this?" (or something like that). :lol:

Claire wasn't doing enough for me in the season premiere. She seemed just like she did in Season 1 when she was discovering her powers except this time around she had more knowledge. I liked her little scene with Future!Peter, though.

Ugh, I can't believe that they used that Mohinder/Maya scene to go off before the commercial. Super Mohinder was pretty cool; I like how he threw off the robbers like that. I dunno why the robbers pushed each other around before they ran, though. :\

Tracy Strauss kicks so much more @$$ than Jessica IMO. :lol: I dunno, but she just seemed so much more seductive yet violent. I like the ice transformation powers, though. That's really neat. Now I wish that Bob was alive, so that she and Bob could fight (ice vs. gold). The guy getting frozen really reminded me of that scene from Smallville from Hydro.

That scene with Hiro and Daphne (I think that's her name) was really cool there. I loved how they went back and forth until she finally one-upped Hiro only to find out that he one-upped her. Poor Ando. :(

The trailer for next week was EPIC! Mama Petrelli just might grow on me, haha. Evil Claire is sooooooo hot/ I bet that all of the Milo fans will be happy at the shirtless Milo next week, haha. Tracy Strauss jumping off the building was nice; I wanna see how that scene will turn out.

Yeah, she seemed so dry last season (except when she was psychotic and being interrogated by Matt), but she seems so awesome this season.

:lol: A snore fest? She was pretty boring, though. Yeah, Peter and Sylar brought out her...good side IMO.

Yeah, I wonder if she'll be better at fighting in the third episode... She just looks like she's gonna be using guns and knives. :\ No martial arts so far...

I don't think 'super learning' is part of Claire lol... so if she's fighting by next episode I'd be surprised. She'll probably still be talking about how she needs to learn to fight lol.......

People might hate me for this but Hayden reminds me of Johannson - she only seems like a good actress when others that are good actors/actresses are with them..... that is just my opinion......

Totally agreed. Her whining is too much. Going evil always makes the whiny girls on TV seem so much more awesome. Like Evil Lana from Season 6 of Smallville, that was pretty cool considering she was so whiny in the first half of S6. :lol: at the Wolverine analogy. But yeah, it totally fits.
