Just a small question about the ending.Does anyone think that the last 2 scenes were shot in different order? If i didn't know about the Clois scene at the DP,i would have thought that the episode was ending with Clark walking away after the meeting with the JL.It was a perfect setting.Clark walking with Metropolis right in front of him setting the pace for this season.Personally i would have prefered it that way.

i agree! that would have been a better scene to end it in. they should have put the clois scene before the league departing scene and ended there

Actually I think they did it right. Ollie and the other JLA were going to lay low for awhile which ends this storyline for now. Clark and Lois in the DP will be a continuation into the next episode so it should be the last scene.

So, how did the college drop-out wind up with a job at the planet? Were his articles for the Talon that good?

Granted, Lois is a "muffin-peddling college drop-out," so I guess it makes sense.

If Clark (TW) came into my office, I'd hire him and would probably do so without his resume. :)

I think so too, SnowBird. I liked how they edited it because, not only for the reason you said (continuing to the next episode), but because it stressed, at least to me, Clark following through with what the JL discussed. I can imagine him walking away, all his friends in different directions, and then him coming up with the DP solution to his own double-identity. I loved his smile too. :)

Did Tess hire him. She is taking over all things Lex. Maybe she figured out he belonged the foot print they found in the snow where lex was last seen.
Or she could have thought he was just hot.
