Did anyone find it crazy that he just started flat out punching Clark in the face when he knew Clark wasn't used to not having powers! Damn these boys are hardcore! I found it kind of hot that they were just like play fighting but actually causing some severe pain. Did anyone else find it to be hot as well?

I found this scene really strange.
Sorry, but they were looking for Clark everywhere and all of a sudden, Oliver finds him and has a plan and, like you said, they start punching each other, and those Russians let Oliver take Clark with him, because they are so friendly people????
As I said before, I found that scene really strange....

Oliver didn't know at that point that Clark had no powers. Clark told him when they were in the jet afterwards.

The impression I got from the expression on Justin's face was that Ollie was there looking for leads, was surprised but satisfied to see Clark there (without wanting to give too much away), and pretty much made up the "plan" on the fly... at least, that's how I read it.

He bought Clark. Oliver ponied up a crap load of money for the black market caviar. Then the Russian sees him take interest in beating the heck out of Clark. Being that Clark was becoming a pain in the butt to the Russian, and as a business gesture for all the cash that was thrown at him, he let Oliver take Clark.
Also if you watch, Oliver threw another handful of cash to the Russian.

It was very strange. If you look at where BC, GA and AC were located, they were all in the Arctic circle so that at least makes sense to me in order for them to attempt to try and find Clark. Oliver somehow showing up at the exact location that Clark was being held was kind of ridiculous. Why couldn't TPTB have mentioned that Oliver was able to track Clark to this particular location or something? I wonder if there is a deleted scene that explains this more.

o.k. I've to watch it again, but my first impression was that I found it very strange.

Exactly my thoughts.

It's pretty obvious he had no powers, otherwise he would have escaped.

How did Oliver actually end up finding Clark anyway?

Well, either he was asking around to see if anybody has seen Clark and got incredibly lucky by ending up in the same spot as Clark or he was somehow able to track Clark to that location. Earlier in the episode, it was mentioned that there were areas in the Arctic circle that were Clark Kent free zones, based on facial recognition. Perhaps Oliver did some more research in offscreenville and was able to come up with possible locations where Clark could be and went there to find him. Clark was working outside so the satellites might've been able to pick him up.

There is only so much time for an episode to pack everything in so sometimes you just have to read between the lines. Oliver knew Clark didn't have his powers or he wouldn't have hit him so hard. He could have broke his hand. I loved this fight scene. Clark usually just pushes or throws people when he has his powers so it was great to get to see him land some punches. Oliver was probably going to buy some information and was as surprised to see Clark as Clark was surprised to see Oliver. The computer information highway wasn't giving up Clark's whereabouts so Oliver started looking in person in the populated places in the Arctic and got lucky.
