Anyone else think that the mind control order to Green arrow was a cheap way of putting Clark at death's door? The syrum only lasted a few minutes tops, and they knew that, but they gave him an order that there was no way he could accomplish without leaving the building. Unless Lex was in the next room it was an impossible task. Seems like a cheap way to lead in to the issues with Chloe, Clark, and MM's powers.

this was covered in another thread...but i think the guy who injected the serum into Green Arrow thought that GA or other members of the JL knew the whereabouts of Lex and assumed that GA would be able to give him the info in a short period of time.

Sounds plausible, but he said,"Do everything in your power to find Lex."
If he thought GA knew already wouldn't he just order him to spill the beans?

it's not just the question that botheres me... im more bothered that he was then allowed to go off unsupervised... that makes so little sense i could pull my hair out

I was wondering why the serum lasted so long for GA and seemingly only a minute or so for Chloe, maybe it was the editing that messed with the timing.

Yes I thought it was a cheap way to put clark at death's door. The serum only works for like two minutes, how in the world was Ollie supposed to find out what happened to Lex in just two minutes when they're in the middle of black creek montana? Also, they knew it would wear off eventually so why did they just let him go?

i was thinking it could've been that the syrum lasted until the task was completed but then i remember they said it didn't last long so i guess there goes one more plot hole
