Tom Welling lost weight...

Did anyone else notice how much skinnier TW looked in the premiere? He hasn't looked that skinny since S1/S2. It is funny because in the middle seasons he looked like he tried to bulk up to get more of a Superman type look. Then he started to look overweight. However, in Odyssey, TW looked skinny. Like he dropped at least 20-30lbs.

I thought he looked pretty much the same....but then I never really notice when people gain or lose a bit of weight, it has to be like 60 pounds for me to notice....

I don't know how much he lost but on my high def 58' screen he was looking delicious. LOL He is definitely more trim, and it seems like he is in excellent shape. Too bad he didn't take his shirt off, especially in the rain!!!!, so this question would have had an answer.

He looks like he did in S1 & S2. He has bigger muscles sure, but he's more toned than in
S6- but either way, the guy ALWAYS looks good :D

He did look slimmer than a couple of season ago. He probably lost some weight but made more muscles. Tom looked damn good!!

Actually the weigh loss thing is kind of tricky, one can loose fat weight and gain it in muscle, so you may be thinner, more toned yet weigh pretty much the same.

I think he looks thinner, shirtless Clark in Crimson was nothing like shirtless Clark in Cruzade, at least toned wise. the face also looks more defined, the cheekbones sharper which points to a loss of fat. No that he was ever fat but compared to earlier seasons and aparently this one, he was chubier in the past 2 seasons.

I have never thought Tom was "fat" or anything like that. But he was musclier the past few seasons (5 and 6 more so).

He does seem to be back to what he was S4 IMO, just a little more muscled. And tbh, he does look magnificent.

He indeed looked delicious - his hair, his face, his body - simply perfect!!

How is it that a thread like this pops up almost every week when there's a new episode? If you were to believe all this speculation, tracking over the last couple of seasons, Tom now weighs 52 lbs.

I agree though, Tom looks amazing...but I think a large part of that is contributed to his attitude. He looks good...feels good....he's just good all around.

If I noticed anything physically about him....its that they let his hair grow out a bit, which I love!

I agree with Jade though, he was never fat....very muscular....but never fat.

Tom looked fantastic last night! Very fit. He did look a bit more toned/slim in the abdomen area :D

He definitely looked more toned. Facially, he doesn't look as heavy either. TW is not fat, I just think that he toned himself up a bit for the new season.

I could not tell a difference in his chest or his body with the clothes he was wearing, but his face seemed more defined like it did in earlier seasons. Also, just his hair being a tad longer and him smiling made a huge difference in how handsome he looked compared to last season. I'm glad happy Clark is back. I hope he sticks around this time. Also, hair and makeup people at Smallville, please don't cut his hair any shorter. This length looks good.

Ditto, I hate his hair short...the man was born to pull off the "shaggy" look. I loved his hair in season.....3, I think? whenever he was Kal in metropolis. Oh...how I loved it! :lol:

I noticed that he looked younger then he did last season. He had a more youthful look like Clark back in the day.

He was supposed to be working at that camp for a month....so the writers may have requested Tom slim down a bit.....for affect. :confused:

Tom looked very fit, muscled and just right. I can always tell if he has weight gain or loss by looking at his face. He has lost some weight with his features more defined this season. I liked the manly way he was throwing punches as well. If I could only use one word to describe Tom it would be Superman.

I think he looked like he lost a few pounds (and by a few I mean no more than ten), but he's not skinny. And he's definitely not like he used to be in S1, which is good I suppose-he's approaching more the Superman body type.
