I think they are just focusing on Lois's perspective more....so we wont know exactly how clark feels.

He's always bee a mystery. So while Lois's feelings will be obvious...I think clark will be more of a mystery....like usual.

Clark not realizing Lois' feelings isn't surprising. He's always been kinda off in that category. But am I the only one who noticed how Lois seemed more hot than she ever has right there in the final act at the Daily Planet? I mean, she always looks good, but she looked more classy and beautiful.

Maybe they will set it up as Lois liking Clark. You never know what angle they will take in the Smallvilleverse.

There's been a lot of discussion on this topic. Spitting on canon is a little harsh. What is really canon? People are up in arms because they think Lois is falling in love first. Well, I beg to differ. Clark, IMHO, is possibly further along in the relationship game than Lois. It's not MAD (mutually assured devotion) yet, they're just one-upping each other, throwing sparks. From Hydro and Apocalypse, Clark knows he is attracted to and wants to kiss Lois. He even admitted it to his mother. He's seen how Lois could be open to a relationship with "somebody from Mars, and she'd find a way to dismiss it as an endearing quirk." He revels in teasing her, as evidenced by that killer smile. He knows that she can be sympathetic and understanding, something she usually hides with a tough, brash demeanor. Lois has barely even touched the surface of Clark Kent. He's just entering her radar. He's going to be dancing all over the place around her and she's completely oblivious. Maybe we get little sparks, but that's all it'll be. She's in denial, big time.
