everything we knew about chloes power is gone we are in the dark! lik what is her power is she a copy cat or a healer did she lose her power or did have to do something with clark what do you think!

I think the new writers said; "Hey that healing power they gave her last season was kinda lame." "Yeah, we should give her a different power this season." "Cool! Yeah! what should it be?" "Umm.. how about...."

Honestly, didn't the writers just think that she needed a new power to give her a little more pep and a more solid place in the JL? I don't think we'll see the healing power again.

I think her healing power is still there because Clark isn't human. So far we have only seen Chloe heal humans with her powers. I am assuming that her healing power is still intact but for some reason she can't heal Clark only the sun can.

I don't know where they are going with Chloe's new juiced up calculator brain.

She is fulfilling her destiny as Oracle, that is why they showed the clip of Brainiac attacking her and it not working.

Well, when Chloe heals, she takes on the illness of the person she's healing. I wonder if she absorbed some of Brainiac when he attacked her. Maybe she's now got his 12th level intelligence? :p

Maybe her healing power just doesn't work on Kryptonians. I like the new mental abilities, but then I was hoping they would do something like that with Clark: an episode similar to the other "new Power comes online" episodes where the power is his mental abilities greatly accelerating.

You have to wonder if her healing power somehow integrated the remnants of Brainiac's invading tendrils that were left in her brain. If so, there's potential for serious consequences down the line, up to and including a return path for Brainiac.

Hey, does anyone know if this enhanced IQ power is her only supposed "new" power or is there more powers she has to discover because from the interviews with the producers about chloe's powers they kept saying how this new power would have consequences on other people instead of her and this power would be a blessing and a curse. They made it sound so intense and kind of dangerous and I can't realli see how this power can hurt other people. Anyone know if there's more powers of hers to come??

Well, before she realized which numbers she was seeing, she caused Aquaman and Black Canary to be captured, and when she was being controlled, she caused them to go after GA and he became controlled and shot Clark. That's using her powers (inadvertantly) to harm others. We shall see.

i like kansaskid's idea with the re-emergence of brainiac. initially i felt like chloe's probably gonna die by the end of the show by saving Clark with her healing powers and that being the trigger to go to the Fortress and become Superman. but now if she DOES die it might involve brainiac coming back...which would be cool as well (not that i want to see her go).

your right she said that she has more than one power! she said powers!!

That is the reason i think she is a copy cat like peter from heroes, a sponge!!

i think Chloe's power is just a variation of empathy. she is able to send her life force to others through touch. but i think she also taps into the person she is healing in kind if an empathic way. she will probably be able to tap in and drain strength and life force in the same way. the only reason she wasn't able to heal Clark is because it was beyond her means as a human to heal a kryptonian. when she was being attacked by Brainiac i think he forced open that empathic link and as a natural defense she drained some of life force, weakening him, and also received her higher brain power from him. but it is clear from her failed attempt to escape that brain power is all she received from Brainiac.

imo chloe cant heal anymore. when Brainiac attached her some of his powers (intellegence - he is a super computer basically) transferred to her. and since brianiac was a machine he had no emotions therefore he couldn't heal.

i think chloe received those powers as a defensive mechanism of her current power... i mean look at lana, as far as we know brainiac didnt transfer powers to her... he is a highly intelligent creature, its not like he was giving his powers away on accident.

i think chloes power went into defensive mode and took a part of brainiac.
