Did anyone else notice they all seemed a little too happy when talking about how Clark needed something more "form fitting", almost like they were going to bust? I thought it was a cute scene.

maybe it was an inside joke on the set?? Perhaps they're forcing TW to wear the tights he vowed to never don....

I think its probably because Tom is so against it... So it's probably an inside joke a bit. I half expected clark to cringe!!

Yeah, that was a fun scene. The Lois scene should have been before that one, for dramatic effect though. My reasoning is Clark walking off into Metropolis is a better ending than Lois smiling ;).

Did anybody else get a sense of Clark's future costume when MM gave him his red jacket and he shrugged it on? It brought a little shiver down my back.

Yeah, I am sure that was very deliberate.

For a minute there, I actually the red jacket actually looked like the cape from Action till he shrugged it on. So yes it was meant to symbolize Superman's cape. (and not to subtly, which in this case is good)

real quick question... who was that chick that was with Green Arrow/Aquaman/Black Canary?....
I didn't recognize her... of course it may be b/c I'm a little bit slow... haha

The one with the black wig? It's Black Canary's secret identity, Dinah Lance.

Actually, it's a great disguise. Even though she looks a bit fruity in the wig, it still gives her face a different form. Which is exactly what she was going for.
She fooled you, it was her intention :p
Personally, I think she is very cute in that fruity wig, lol.

For a split second I thought it may be the Action cape too....Disapponted the Clark actually put on that jacket like he was proud to wear it:(....I mean I know it's his "colors" but, I wish they would have just look down and ponder putting the jacket back before he actually did......and then my thoughts lead me into thinking about the scene where CK, OQ, DL, and AC where in the street talking about doning homemade costumes.....I'm hoping that at somepoint that Clark does get to wear some sort of costume this year, hopefully atleast in the Green Arrow style:D

Yeah, I loved Tom's grin after they said that. I think Tom has a very good sense of humor about it. When Tom was hired, I think the producers were the ones who said there wouldn't be any flights or tights. I don't think a new actor, going for his first series is going to tell the producers what he will or will not do. I believe this was a given, so I think Tom has realized that it is a good idea too, but, I think he has flown, as Kal-El, and now that so many others characters have flown too, he would probably do it too. The tights, I can understand why he still thinks he doesn't have to yet.

I thought that was a cute scene. I'm really hoping we get to see him fly this year! And it seems that they are going to have to address something about him needing a disguise or something. With him moving more towards being a hero, it's like he said, he almost needs to be two separate people.

they were happy about the IDEA of a costume...Dinah, the female, was the ONLY one who mentioned or cared about form fitting...after that it was all buisness...
and Tom put that red jacket on like nobody's buisness!! He's ready to go to work...

The only one they showed being happy about it, was Black Cannary, and that was because she said it. They didnt show A.C.'s or Ollies expressions, just hers, and shes a girl, so obviously, shed be happy thinking about it.

It's obvious why they had a girl say that, but to me when they started talking about Clark needing a costume, they all seemed a little animated. IMO.

I just wonder how many takes it took for that scene. I can just see them all bursting out laughing when BC said her line. We will never see Tom in the suit but I do hope he gets a cool disguise.

I saw them zoom in on Ollie whenever he was talking about sporting a "homemade costume," and Black Cannary whenever she said, "form fitting." I thought it was a nice nod for Clark didnt say "no" to either, and just smiled.
