Not appealing enough to be interesting.

I think she is evil....she's Lex's little robo clone.

Someone needs to be the villain of the story.

She is suppoed to be evil so she can be a replacement for Lex. Apparently, she's "even more deceptive." lol

I think Dooms will take a bit of that load. Or atleast I hope so!

There is something about here that I just don't like at all... She is too mysterious and I can't quite figure it out, but she gives me a weird vibe... She is hiding something thats for sure!

Yeah, but between now and then, we'll have Tess. I just hope she lives up to the expectations Smallville has given us when it comes to wealthy and deceptive enemies.

Yea, I got that too. I kind of thought that was because Tess doesnt seem to know what she wants. On the one hand...she's hard core searching for Lex, but then...she looked awefully comfy in his chair. I think she wants everyone to see how hard she's looking for lex....but she wouldnt mind being the permanent president of Luther corp either.

She's a villian but we'll see how she makes Clark's life miserable this season and everyone else. MR as Lex was still the best!

Ok I know that this is some wild speculation... But what if she knows where Lex is or better yet is holding him somewhere... IDK... Any thoughts?

Supergirl0331,
Great idea! If only they could bring MR back, I'd say that'd be really cool. Maybe even do this really badass montage, the way they did with Lionel at the end of "Covenant", where, after a season full of seeing Tess do terrible things and being this great villain, we totally then see Lex getting the upper hand as opera music plays and he destroys her, wreacks havoc on all who put him there, and escapes more utterly insane than ever. Due to the torture Tess had put him through-perhaps probing him to find out who the Traveler is, and maybe Lex protected the secret because that knowledge is his power and his alone-Lex has now lost half of his memory, barely even remembering Clark. All that lingers in his mind are negative memories of his father, bits and pieces of things that happened to him during his time in Smallville, but things that don't fit together just right, like pieces of a puzzle. It drives Lex so mad that he renounces his time in Smallville (a la "Birthright") and decides to recreate himself, start a new life in Metropolis...paralleling Clark's decision to put the past in Smallville behind him as well.
Of course that's all IF and only IF we had the brilliant MR back. :( If the cold hard truth is indeed truth-that MR won't return-then perhaps a less complex explanation with more mystique is in order?

I think she is weird and creepy...anyone else think so? I am kinda bored with the creepy assistant taking over for Lex or doing his bidding, its just strange...effective, but predictae

I need to see more of her before I make my decision, all I know for sure is that she is very mysterious.

Obviously, she's a villain, but is she able to become a Luthor Villain. Next to Lex and Lionel, I more see Lana as taking over the LuthorCorp and yet she's struggling with her inner goodness. But she's gone, so goodbye to her.
Tess looks like a typical ambitious feminist in a suit.

This sounds jaded, but I just don't care. So far, she does not seem like she is going to fill Lex's or the MB's villianous shoes. During Odyssey, after a while, I was like, "okay. get off the screen now so I can get some more of the Clark story."

As far as I've seen, she's not good enough to be the villain, much less to fill Lex's void...but I don't know, we've only seen 1 ep so far, I'll give her a chance to prove that she can be something more than some bossy secretary
