I'm recording it on PC and 2 HD DVRs, but all are dependent on the local CW.

Cant believe that they stripped MM of his powers! Hopefully it will come back.

Lois was kickass in this episode, cant wait to see whatever they have instore for us throughout the season (though why they wont make her an offical regular is beyond me).

Mercer is also great, she is going to make a great villan.

Great season premiere but it really should have been two hours. The Montana scenes could have been extended. Also I hope they go into how Clark was accepted as a reporter in a coming episode. Sure he wrote for the Torch but that was a long time ago.

Lois gets bopped and Chloe shows little concern. WTF? I beginning to lose hope in Cho-Lo. She has to be told to look over her cousin...the one as close as a sister?

And MM loses his powers. WTF?

Otherwise, it was a pretty good episode.

It was a fun episode I won't lie. But it only works for me as long as I don't think of Clark as on his way to Superman.

Chloe was amazing as usual; I really preferred her without Clark

they went to the sun to heal clark but as mm said the sun has reverse effects on him so he lost his powers,but as smallville history has shown nothing or noone is gone forever!

Isn't this a plot hole, that when he took Clark to the sun to save him, MM lost his powers because of the sun? Or is this a writer's excuse for restoring Clark's powers without Jor-el's aid!

He didnt go to the sun to get healed. He went to outer space...back to his space station.

Its actually completely consistent with the comics that he loses his powers from the sun. I just checked it on Wikipedia, and his weakness is definitely fire, which as we know, the sun has plenty of.

Its a serious mistake to have Al and Miles names on the credits they should switch it to the new executive producers. If any of us should stubble upon Smallville in the past the coorelation is lost...

They have AlMiles' names listed for the part where it says "Developed for Television By...", so since Peterson, Souders, Slavkin, and Swimmer didn't originally create the concept of Smallville, they shouldn't be credited. No matter how "horribly" people think that AlMiles did during their reign as executive producers.

I'm actually okay with MM losing his powers (temporarily). I suspect Clark will get himself in trouble later in the season - maybe with Doomsday, maybe before then. If MM is supposed to protect Clark, people would wonder where the heck he was when Clark was getting b****slapped across Metropolis.

This way, they're setting up the continuity IN ADVANCE that, at least for a little while, if Clark gets in trouble he can't expect MM to come in and save his life. And IF he dies at some point this season, it's good to know this in advance as well. So people don't say, "But why didn't MM heal Clark here like he did in Odyssey?"

I like the effort at continuity.

he just had to get outside of Earth's atmosphere to heal...:)
