So it was created in a middle season but never appeared until season 7?

Yep, according to the creater of this.

One of the clone brothers that Lex made for Project Gemini? Technically, they're not people, but clones, so I guess they're objects...
By that time in a middle season (maybe S5), Lionel's research on Emily Dinsmore had been completed and Lex had information on Evan from Ageless.

The bomb from Gemini has labelings that state that it was made in 2005 (Season 4/5-ish time), but it doesn't fit the third clue...

Nope. Still not it.

Was created after a certain event in a middle season.
Only appeared in one episode.
Was used to "protect" a main character.
What is it?
Bumping it to the current page.
It's neither of those answers?
Thought it would've been the bomb after thinking about it for a while.
The tag says it was made in January 05.
Appeared in Gemini and was used to "protect" Chloe according to that old man...
Thinking of what it could be...

Something tells me it's something Veritas-related (maybe even Edward Teague related). Maybe from Quest.

What about the holding cell that Clark was kept in from Traveler?
krewsaider

However, I would never have got it without MrsK's and Mark's excellent detective work to narrow it down to Lockdown.

minerva73
09-05-2008, 07:43 PM
One of the devices that Vanessa Webber gave to Jimmy in *cringes* Sleeper? Maybe the phone he gave her?
It's electronic.
It was used to track the suspected terrorist, Chloe Sullivan.
Jimmy found out he was wrong about suspecting Chloe for being a sleeper agent at the end.
skully
09-05-2008, 07:45 PM
Very warm, m73. Not the phone.
minerva73
09-05-2008, 07:52 PM
Warm as in same episode? Or it is the general concept that's close?
Hmm... How about the radio that Chloe used to locate Kara (off-screen, but she told Clark about it when they met) in Kara?
Electronic.
It was used to find Kara (the mysterious blonde woman who appeared at daycares).
Clark found out that he was wrong about Kara when she told him her story.

09-05-2008, 08:00 PM
Haha, fair enough skully. Going by memory for this question since I haven't seen Sleeper in a while (and honestly I'm not trying to rewatch it anytime soon).
The bowtie?
-I guess it's electronic according to what Vanessa said.
-I think it was a camera or something to spy on Chloe. Don't remember to be honest.
-Jimmy couldn't get it to work?
----- Added 54 Seconds later -----
Or Jimmy's video game? Doesn't fit the third clue, though.
----- Added 2 Minutes later -----
I think it may be the eye-scanner thing that Vanessa gave to Jimmy actually.
Electronic.
He used it to get access from the guy who was walking in the hallways who wasn't a villain.
Jimmy didn't end up using it properly because Chloe "fooled" him.
skully
09-05-2008, 08:03 PM
It was not a Jimmy gadget. The key word is "suspected".
minerva73
09-05-2008, 08:11 PM
Now I've just drawn a blank...
Can't think of anything that's not a Jimmy gadget that was used to find a suspected villain in the episode.
Maybe the computers at the Ace of Clubs (doesn't belong to Jimmy, though)
Electronic.
Used to find out what happened to Brainiac (suspected villain, I guess).
Chloe and Clark's hunches were wrong because at the end they found out that they went back in time.
Or Vanessa Webber's camera from one of the beginning scenes?
Electronic.
She used it to take pictures of Chloe (the suspected villain)
The photos were misleading since Chloe wasn't doing anything illegal in those pics.
It's probably really easy and I just am overlooking it. -_-
skully
09-05-2008, 08:25 PM
I belonged to Vanessa Webber but has not been mentioned yet.
I've tried so hard to block Sleeper from my memory that this one just isn't coming to me, even with all the information we have!

Seems MrsK isn't around. So I'll put up a quickie.
It is an electronic gadget
It was used to track a suspected villain
Its user got it all wrong.
What is it?
It's from Sleeper and apparently belonged to Vanessa Webber.
The binoculars from the first scene after the credits that she used when she first saw Chloe about to leave after Jimmy made her breakfast?
skully
09-05-2008, 08:52 PM
That's it, m73. The electronic binoculars was what I was after. She was actually looking at Jimmy who was originally a suspect but soon discounted by Webber as being an accomplice of Chloe.
You're up.
minerva73
09-05-2008, 09:00 PM
Clever one, skully. I hope this one can be somewhat as tricky as the recent ones, haha.
Okay, how about:
-The item was seen in one episode only, but we never saw what happened to it after a specific scene.

-The item ends up getting messed up in a sense because of what happened to the person in charge of it.

Was it the missing portion of Brainiac's power source that Clark broke off?
Or what about the black crystal that Brainiac gave to Clark in Solitude to destroy the FOS with?
How about the black kryptonite that Bridgette Crosby gave Martha in Crusade?
Not sure the third clue fits, though.

09-06-2008, 02:26 PM

Actually, I think I MAY know this one. Is it the Warrior Angel comic Ryan bleeds on when he gets a bloody nose? I think it was Lex's. It did get "messed up" from blood. We never did see what happened to it. And it really has no connection to Clark. It's not Kryptonian. I think it was just in that one episode. And I think Lex "abandonded" it when he had to deal with Ryan's condition.

Here are the clues again:
-The item was seen in one episode only, but we never saw what happened to it after a specific scene.
-The person who was in charge of the item ended up abandoning the item to do something else.
-The item ends up getting messed up in a sense because of what happened to the person in charge of it.
-It's from season 5, prior to Vengeance.
-It has nothing to do with Clark.
-It is not Kryptonian.
----- Added 2 Minutes later -----
What about the pizza that the pizza boy in Thirst (played by the same actor who played Alden in Reunion) delivered to the vampire girls?
So it is the first half of S5, and no major character is in the scene in which the item appears? That should narrow it down quite a bit...
How about the pizza that was delivered to the Tri-Psi house in Thirst?
----- Added 31 Seconds later -----
Beat me to it, x-ray!
minerva73
09-07-2008, 04:37 AM
Nice work on that. Yep it's the pizza, xray and MrsK.
-It was only seen in that one scene in Thirst and we don't know whether or not the girls ate it after their murder.
-Depending on who you felt was in charge of the pizza (the girls or the delivery guy), they both abandoned it to go into the hot tub.
-When the girls attack the pizza guy, we see that blood (from the pizza guy and probably from the girl's teeth) splatters all over the slightly opened box.
So you're up, xray!

You said "no" to a multiple choice question, lol. One of them HAS to be true. Example, Is it something that can fit in your hand or it is too big to hold? You just said, "none of those". A LITTLE more information would be helpful Xray, lol

No owner? So it's something natural like the moon (but we've seen that more than once), or the aurora lights in Solitude or the eclipse in Blue (yeah, I know, not a middle season)?
How about the 2nd meteor shower?
It sort of allowed Clark to keep track or track down the other two stones to form the FoS crystal or maybe allowed Lex to keep track of Lana's stone during the evacuation
It lead to Clark saving the life of the little boy in Commencement (as seen in the opening credits)
It was certainly discussed by other guests in Commencement e.g. the army guys, etc.
It was initially rocks in space then became fireballs as it entered the Earth's atmosphere, and then craters after "touchdown"!!

Well, you can't fit it in your hand. It's not physical.

No. That was owned by Jor-El, then Raya, then Clark.

It's not a natural object or feature. Not the 2nd meteor shower either.

It's not a natural feature or object, yet it has no owner??? Lordy, some real lateral thinking required.
Well, you can't fit it in your hand. It's not physical.

I'm confused! How can it appear in different forms if it is not physical?

Is it some kind of force? How about the force field generated by the twins in Mortal?
But I guess they are the owners of said force field.
Recapping all of the clues:
-This allowed a main character to keep track of things.
-It ultimately made it possible for another main character's life to be saved.
-It was discussed by other 1-time appearing characters.
-It isn't an electronic device.
-This thing changed its form several times.
-The item & all its forms are in one episode.
-It's in a middle season.
-Someone causes it to change.
-It's not a container or any kind of crystal.
-It is not in possession of anyone. It has no owner.
-It's not a natural object or feature.
-It is not physical.
