Blood Arc and Helen in general

Ok I had a question about the whole clark's blood story arc... helen got the blood and never marked it and later found out even more about there family thru martha..why did lex steal the blood? how did he know anything was special about the blood at all. then how did lionel know later on.. later we find out helen is a traitor why didnt she just give up the kents? if she didnt give them up once again how did anyone even know about the blood. idk maybe i should just let the details go but it seems weird.

ok more about helen what was the story there
was she spying th whole time
on a sidenote i thought it was sad she was like that because lex deserved to be happy at that point

I think Lex stole it because he had a hunch that there was something important about it. Lex made it look like Helen had been robbed in order to steal that blood. But he didn't know that it was Clark's blood. Maybe he hoped that Helen would let something slip about it's significance.

Lionel didn't know where the blood he had came from. I don't think Lionel got the blood he experimented with from Helen.

I don't think Helen was working with Lionel all along. She really loved Lex. Lionel approached her. I'm sure he felt threatened by Helen's relationship with Lex. So Lionel approached her with offers and deals and money. I don't think she'd said yes to anything.

Once she realized that Lex had lied about the blood she was trying to take the Luthor's down. That's when she started working with Lionel. That's when she formed a plot to kill Lex. I think she was going to take both the Luthor's for everything she could get. IMO.

1st part may be true but lionel did get the experimenting blood from helen and then jonathan destroyed it so he gave his own blood so ya it pretty much was from helen.. i would think that she wasnt working for him all along but in exile she said that "i think the cops would find it interesting that you hired me to spy on lex" so idk
