best epi. of season 1. part 2.

I voted for "Hug". It was one of my favorite episodes the very first time I watched Season 1. I enjoy that episode every time.

"Rogue" is probably the BEST episode of the ones listed. "Kinetic" has a great story and is focused on Whitney which is really cool. It was fun to see Metropolis in "Zero."

Leech is my favorite episode from season 1

Rogue is #1 in the round and the best episode of the season IMO.The bus crash in Rogue is the most realistic FX shot in the history of the show IMO, and Phaelon was an outstanding villain. Plus it is the first time Clark is shown being faster than a speeding bullet, the mythos reference with the breast plate, the cliffhanger with Lex seeing the blur on the computer, the interaction with Clark and the Kents, etc..

Leech gets a very close #2 and coincidentally is my second favorite episode of S1. Clark was a lot like Superman in this episode. It is a shame it didn't happen more often. He is willing to sacrifice himself for the safety of others. I think my favorite line of the show is "I'd stop people like you" when Eric asks Clark what he would do with powers. Another great line comes from Johnathan "Clark, your gifts may be a part of you but they don't define you," Man, the dialogue was great in S1. It was also good to see Clark have a chance to be normal and enjoy life. Plus I love the FX shot of Clark getting struck by lightning.

I voted Leech because I thought the episode had a good idea and I really enjoyed watching it.

A toss up between Jitters and Rogue for me...

Jitters had a fantastic story, while Rogue revealed some nice deep emotions in the cast, especially with Clark.

God I feel the need for a Smallville season 1 marathon...
