Do their names appear somewhere in Coach Walt's office? Maybe on a trohpy or plaque or something? Or maybe in the trophy case at Smallville High?

I checked Coach Walt's office but I didn't find anything. Maybe I overlooked something.
MBrittan

Didn't they walk by a trophy case in the episode "Hot Head" when he was trying to convince Clark to join the team? I remember him asking Whitney about Clark (as a potential football player) - Or didn't they show Whitney staring into a trophy case in Tempest? He said something like "My whole life is in there".

You've got it Mark. The trophy case in Tempest. I just checked it. They won it in 2002.

I think I know the answer to yours (in fact I am pretty sure I do), but I will wait for confirmation from Mrs. K. on your answer.
You're close enough - they were the MVPs for the Crows in 1998, 1999, and 2000 - It's in the trophy case in Tempest. Good job, Mark.

Weren't all those characters blackmailed? Oh and sorry about the previous question. Whitney got the MVP in 2002. I looked quickly for a year.

They all worked for the Luthors:
-the Sheriff for Lionel (Season 2)
-Edgar for Lionel in prison (Season 4)
-Dr. Groll for Lex (Season 6)

They all double-crossed the Luthors:
-Sheriff Ethan initially worked on private basis for Lionel and then tried to kill him and frame Jonathan for it
-Edgar initially was working for Lionel but then decided to help Clark in order to assist in getting his body back.
-Dr. Groll was initially working for Lex and double-crossed him by sharing information with Lana. Not wanting anything to do with the Luthors anymore, he went into hiding.

I suppose that's close enough. I was going for "SECRET MEETING IN THE BACK OF A LIMO"
-Sheriff Ethan met with Lionel in Suspect (when Lionel blackmailed him)
-Edgar met with Bridgett Crosby in the back of limo to give her the element he recovered in the prison
-Dr. Grohl met with Lana in the back of a luthor limo to give her all of his research (the meeting which Jimmy photographed in the rain - but couldn't explain to Chloe)

This is probably too general, but Greg, Evan's parents, and Gabriel were all from Smallville High at the same time Clark and the gang were going there? It's probably way off though.
Oh wait, all of Greg, Evan, and Gabriel have a deceased parent, which was caused by them.
-Greg killed his mom
-Evan killed his dad by accident, and his mother died as a result of giving birth to him
-Gabriel killed his father when he turned into a meteor freak
Dr. Walden
07-09-2008, 05:24 PM
Probably true...Gabriel was a year older than Clark/Chloe/Lana/everyone, which is the same age as Evan's parents, and I believe the same age as Greg, but not what I am looking for.

Lionel was nearly killed by Ethan's gunshot in Suspect
Lionel WAS killed in Descent by Lex

Lex almost died in the Pilot when his car went over the bridge

Nope. It has nothing do with anyone dying or almost dying. It can be about a person, place or thing. Well it's only one of those three, and you have to describe the context. Someone brought the connection to "Suspect" to my attention awhile back, so that's how I know there is a three person bond. I will give you a hint. Whatever who or what it is, he/she/it was more prominent in the "Pilot"
MBrittan
07-09-2008, 05:32 PM
A character held against his will?
Clark - tied to the post as the scarecrow in Pilot
Jonathan - put in jail for attempting to murder Lionel
Lois and Jimmy - trapped in the freezer in Descent
Vergon6
07-09-2008, 05:33 PM

Nope. I will say Lionel is the connection in two of the instances. Ok, it's not a person or an event.
MBrittan
07-09-2008, 05:35 PM
Could it have something to do with jewelry?
-Lana's Kryptonite necklace in the pilot
-Lionel's necklace with the locket in Descent
-the watch Lionel gave Martha in Suspect

The bartender's body in Suspect
and Lois and Jimmy in Descent

Dr. Walden
07-09-2008, 05:44 PM
I've only seen Descent once so this is challenging...a wooden post? Clark is literally "connected" to one in Pilot, then there is a bullet shot into one in Suspect...don't know about Descent.

Ok before Dr. Walden goes, here is the context of each. I had made a thread in the "Descent" forum about this, and someone brought it to my attention back in April that it appeared in "Suspect" as well:
-Clark is carrying the book when we first see a fully grown Lana. She says "So which one are you. Man or Superman?"
-In 'Suspect", Lionel is having it read to him while he was blind or feigning blindness, it's hard to tell
-In "Descent", it's in Lionel's vault adjacent to the Kryptonian device that Clark finds and activates to get that message from Lionel

Chloe creates nicknames for characters. Martian Manhunter in Crimson, Bizarro Clark in Bizarro, and Supergirl in Kara.
Dr. Walden
07-09-2008, 08:54 PM
Yup. I figured Bizarro-Clark was close enough to Bizarro for it to work. I just always found it odd how Chloe randomly came up with these names that of course eventually become their true monikers. You're up krewsaider.

Okay this is a shot in the dark. Clark travels back from somewhere far away:
-Lake Tahoe when he speed gave out, and then had to take a bus from Colorado Springs back to Smallville after his speed gave out again
-Traveled back and forth between Smallville and China
-Traveled back from the Arctic then to the Yukon and then finally back to Smallville

Lionel protects his secret in each episode?

07-10-2008, 12:24 AM
Lionel protects his secret in each episode?
Yep.
In Forever, he shoots Jason off the cliff when he is about to reveal Clark's secret to Lex (at the time we weren't sure if he was protecting Clark's secret intentionally, but Lionel has implied that he knew the secret longer than Clark realized)
In Cyborg, he paid off the guy with the DVD of the Warehouse 15 explosion
And in Justice he claimed Clark was with him and Martha at dinner while the attack on the 33.1 Facility was happening.

Twitch
07-10-2008, 01:22 AM

I need to go to bed soon so I'll give you clue. You're looking for a similar incident that occurs to three seperate main characters.
skully
07-10-2008, 01:57 AM
A main star takes a fall from a window? Chloe fell from the mansion window in Kinetic, Jason "fell" out of the Talon apartment window after Isobelle magically propelled him out (he was caught by Clark) in Spell, and Lionel fell after Lex pushed him out of the LuthorCorp window in Descent.

Heals Clark and Martha in Fever (irradiated spores possibly caused by the ship in Visage? They were never down there before...)
Blown up with kryptonite key in ExodusClose enough MrsK. The ship is activated, one way or another. In Visage it sparked up and neuralized Lana's necklace, in Fever Clark activated it with the key to save Martha and cure himself, and in Exodus, Clark activated it again with a key (but with a green-K version that made it destroy itself).

Okay.
Suspect
Covenant
Reunion
Someone "turning on" someone else?
Suspect - Lionel turns on Lex when he learns that he has been blinded by the surgery Lex authorized; also, Sheriff Ethan "turns" to crime when blackmailed by Lionel
Covenant - Clarks turns on his friends and family to go with fake Kara
Reunion - young Lex turns on young Duncan in favor of Ollie and his buddies
It's all I've got for now...
-M-
No, not betrayal or turning on someone else. Dr. Walden is close with the injury angle.

MBrittan
07-10-2008, 06:38 PM
No, not betrayal or turning on someone else. Dr. Walden is close with the injury angle.
Hmmm. Common injuries. Lionel is shot in Suspect. The bartender is killed and stuffed in a freezer. Clark roughs up Ethan a bit in the hospital but doesn't actually injure him. In Covenant, Kara vaporizes Loder. Jonathan falls unconscious following Clark getting sucked into the cave wall. Chloe is presumed dead from an explosion. In Reunion, Lex physically attacks (and beats) Duncan. He is later mortally wounded by a car. One of his friends is stabbed through the hear with a sword. Another one dies when his limo explodes. We have explosions in Covenant and Reunion, but not Suspect...
-M-
Well, I am not talking about any death. There is one way that people are injured in each episode that you have missed. Not a shooting (at last, not directly), an explosion, or anything to do with a car.
Dr. Walden
07-10-2008, 08:57 PM
Drugged?
Jonathan was drugged in Suspect.
Lex was poisoned in Covenant.
Lana was presumably drugged in Reunion, given that Dr. Langston was present.

I think each of those characters "underestimated" Lex. They each admit to it in the episodes listed.
In Krypto, Genevieve asked Lex to hire Jason to get him away from Lana, but instead he used Jason to help him find the stones.
In Oracle, Fine says he underestimated Lex's "willingness to tackle a non-profit venture" just before he injected him with the virus that lead to him becoming Zod-in-Lex.
In Justice, Oliver underestimated Lex's ability to detect his team members in their raids on LuthorCorp facilities and it resulted in Bart's capture.

Does it have to do with inheriting large sums of money? Jason and Oliver from their parents, Desiree from her lovers?

No on the money. I'm thinking more about a connection between the actors who play those roles. I just kind of realized that you could be looking for connections between the characters all day unless I said that.

Well,
Justin Hartley and Krista Allen have both guest starred on CSI.
Krista Allen and Jensen Ackles have both guest starred on Days of Our Lives.
I can't find a connection between all three of them.

Krista Allen and Jensen Ackles have both guest starred on Days of Our Lives.
They did more than guest star. They were both regulars, and the characters they played are still on the show. Well, Ackles' character has been written off screen for some time, but you get the point. Allen's character is now played by a different person.
Your getting close, very close.
