Van Damme Movies

I am a big fan of Jean Claude Van Damme. I've seen about 15 of his movies. They're just plain, classic movies showing J.C.V.D. kickin' ass. This thread is to discuss your favorite Van Damme films.

My Top Five:

1. Timecop
2. Hard Target
3. Nowhere To Run
4. Universal Soldier
5. Lionheart

Can't really remember all his movies...but of the ones I do remember:

1. Timecop (great sci-fi)
2. Sudden Death (great film, underrated--directed by same guy who did Timecop)
3. Nowhere to Run (great action-drama)
4. Universal Soldier (cool sci-fi action)
5. Lionheart (or should I say, "Lion HEAAAAAAAART!!!!!" :lol:; classic JCVD film although pretty cheesy at times)

So yeah my list is pretty much like yours Krewsaider. Other films that come to mind but I haven't seen in a long while are Double Impact (as if one of him wasn't enough as it is...lol j/k), and Bloodsport. Also who could forget Street Fighter, the best JCVD movie of all time--EVER. (<--just sarcasm of course, heh)

I wish I remembered Hard Target from your list but I'm drawing blanks here...what happened in that again?

Xander, Hard Target is the one where there are these guys who hunt men for sport. Van Damme plays this merchant fisherman who goes against them named Chance Bourderoux. It's pretty exciting. The best part is when he punches a snake in the face! It blew my mind. :lol:

i agree bloodsport was great .
timecop i enjoyed.

but he did a ton of bad movies.

Haha the snake punch is the best. First time I saw it, my jaw dropped. I was like "Did he seriously just punch a snake?!" I had to rewatch it to make sure.

I gotta go with "Timecop and SuddenDeath" as my favs. Just like Steven Segal they both have like 2 or 3 movies that RULE but you'd never know it because of the 30 or so garbage ones they've managed to eck out. Also JCVD was originally cast as the Predator in the 1st pred movie. but was dropped because he kept passing out due to the heat of the suit. Also his pred sucked looked like a giant bug.

The best Van Damme movies are Death Warrent, Kickboxer, Bloodsport ,Time cop and Universal Soldier!

Oh and his classic no retreat no surrender where he plays a villain! I think it's called that
