...kind of wish that Angel Inv. had just stayed in their little office building and that Doyle hadn't been killed off so early?

I like the Hyperion, don't get me wrong, I just loved how the office had that dingy, dirty and noirish feel to it. NTM, Angel's underground lair was pretty darn cool.

I wish that we would have had a chance to get to know Doyle more, but the upside was allowing Cordelia to grow as a character. It is unfortunate and heart-breaking that Glenn Quinn himself died a few years later.

I can see the charm of the small detective agency but I preferred the Hyperion out of all the main sets. It was apparently hard to shoot in though.

I do wish that they'd let Doyle stay on longer, but in the world of Joss Whedon, no one is safe. I think I was honestly the least crushed by his death than I was a lot of main characters in both Angel and Buffy. Well, I take that back. Jenny Calendar's death wasn't as crushing to me, but it broke my heart for Giles.

As far as locales go, I think the worst move for Angel Inc. was the shift to W&H. It took away the heart of the show and its characters. I probably liked their original setting of the office building best, but the Hyperion did offer a lot of options as far as shooting went though.

I loved the first office with Angel's apartment under it and was really sad to see it go. I guess the hotel worked better as we got more cast members since they wouldn't have all fit into that first small office very well. I was also sad to see Doyle go but I loved Wes's re-introduction. He became one of my favorite characters on Angel (which is funny since I didn't care for him on Buffy) and I was devestated that they killed him in the end.

I loved him from the start on Buffy. I've always been a sucker for a dork in glasses though. He had such an innocence on Buffy that was twisted and taken away on Angel. They took his character to a very dark place, honestly darker than I would have liked. I was sorry to see Doyle go, but I'd rather have had Wesley hands-down.

I actually like Wesley's development. But there is still something be to said about how great the dynamic was in the final episodes of Season 2.
