So you’ve all probably seen these before, especially if you have multiple obbessions like me lol, but I hadn’t seen a Smallville one before so I thought I would make one, if anyone has anything to add to this list feel free to add away!

You know you are way too obsessed with Smallville when…

You know all of the shipper names (Chlark, Clois, Clana, Clex, Lexana, Chlana)

You know what all the abbreviations mean- TFTB, FOTW, etc.

You can count how many different haircuts Chloe has had

You can interchangeable use the characters nicknames for their real names- BDA, Woobie, MB, Pink Power Ranger a.k.a Pink Princess

You start relating Smallville to events in real life (Personal examples- In chemistry we us the thing called a before during and after reaction, and yes I fondly call it Big Dumb Alien, School Ring Day! Wish it was made with red-k)

You can have a passionate argument about your ship if provoked

You have a huge crush on at least one member of the Smallville cast ( I love Tom Welling and Allison Mack! They are so gorgeous! :D )

I am Smallville Obssessed!

I love Smallville because the show is earth shattering the only thing I have on my mind is Smallville!

Here's my proof!

I know of over 1000 different Smallville websites.
I have every episode memorized, quoted and studied.
I have downloaded every Smallville transcripts and I made my own quote pages (written down).
I have even written my own Smallville scenes and sent them to Warner Bros.
I have all of the Smallville novels (The Smallville Series and young adult Smallville series) and comic books and I hope to get some more very soon.
I have all the Smallville seasons on the DVD box sets and the first episode DVD.
I have all the episodes of Smallville taped on VHS of all five Seasons.
I know the episodes so well that when I look at the screen I can watch Smallville when it isn't even on.
I have officially rearranged my room to be exactly identical to Clark’s room.
I own and wear clothes that look like Lana’s or I wear red and blue all the time with my cap with the superman logo on it. I love wearing flaid and flannel.

I live in a Smallville farming town that looks like an exact replica of Smallville, maybe even the model for Smallville! It's a couple of hours away from the big city and it's got everything from the attractive farm boys to the mysterious happenings and fertilizer plant!

I have three pairs of Superman underwear: a blue, one a red one and a yellow one and all them have the Superman logo on it!

I have the Clark, Lana and Lex action figures and the Smallville calendars.

I am reading the books everyday and collecting music that Clark likes.
I have ten different Superman t-shirt and one Supergirl t-shirt.
I own tons of Smallville trading cards.
I have more than 80 Smallville wallpapers for myself and Smallville music videos too.
I have 5 promotional posters of Smallville.
I have so much Smallville on my walls that it literally looks like Smallville wallpaper.
I chat all the time in KryptonSite's Smallville chat room and I write Smallville fanfics.
I have names for my future kids: Clark, Lana and (Alexander) Lex.
I get into so much trouble at home for talking about it all the time and trying to relate everything to Smallville.
I have bought Smallville everything! Down to the pens, books and backpacks.
I was kissing my ex boyfriend David and he said “I love you”, I was so floored I said “I love you too Clark!”. I’m completely serious!

I have very special connections with both the WB headquarters in New York and the Smallville cast/crew in Vancouver, that's how I know what's gonna happen.
I get preview screenings of the episode. I send them feedback and they do what they want with it. Sometimes it affects an episode but a lot of the time it doesn't.
Besides part of the contract I signed that allows me to have preview screenings, included a vow of silence concerning certain forbidden topics or details. I usually get a call and I'm told what I'm not allowed to say.
I am allowed to drop hints, spoilers, spread news and raise publicity.
Exactly how I got my connections will have to remain a Clark Kent style secret.

I got the Lana's tattoo on my back, in the same place too!

I constantly go to many of the Smallville websites, my favourite being KryptonSite.
I talk to all my friends about it and they don’t even watch the show so they have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about.

I got most of my family, including cousins and everything, hooked on Smallville.

If I don’t watch (or god help the world miss) an episode of Smallville, I go absolute berserk, insane and angry.
I breathe and live Smallville, I use Smallville quotes everyday and everywhere I possibly can.

I know the names of more people in Smallville High and Smallville than I do in my school and town.

I know the characters so well that I feel like I know them and they are people I can rely on to be there.

I watch their lives unfolding and it's beautiful because although they usually have a FOTW once in a while, they touch on real morals, feeling and thoughts, they say things that most of us are too afraid to say and I admired them for their courage to fight their demons head on and say what they feel.

But personally in my own opinion the character I most relate with is Clark even though I am a girl. Clark is a person doesn't know who he really is and where he comes from, Clark is the person that is trying to find a special place in the world somewhere and discover his true calling while trying his whole life to fit in the ordinary world like so many of us.

He, like myself, can't be with the person he loves because he has built up too much armour over the years and that takes a while to break down because he doesn't want to get hurt or hurt anyone else.

Clark knows that with each new development his responsibilities become greater and more dangerous for those involved. Clark feels guilty about his past and looks forward to the future with wonder and excitement. Clarks knows that with as many gifts he has, he can't save everyone and control everything.

I love Tom Welling/Clark the most: his attitude, his personality, his smile, his voice is so soothing, his eyes are beautiful and a window to his soul.

When Clark goes through pain and suffering I can feel and understand it. When Clark cries or is sad, I'm sad or crying, when he's happy, I'm happy. I totally love the show in every way possible I have so many things that I would like to say but you probably need you space so I will leave it at this!

I'm too new to know if you're being serious or not, but if you are that's kinda... concerning.

My only obsession of note has been watching hours worth of episodes on end. In Australia we're only in season 3, I downloaded + watched all of season 3 + 4 in about 5 nights. I barely slept, it was weird. Now I'm going through withdrawals since I've caught up to season 5 having to wait a week for each episode :mad:

you just started watching them in the fall of this year..and you got all the 4 seasons for christmas..and finished every episode before christmas break ended..when i say finished i dont mean watched once..i mean each a couple of times..wow im insane!! but its ok!!

and wen you have a countdown to thursday nights smallville episode that starts monday morning..ill be in the middle of class..and ill turn around to my friend and be like..1 hundred and 22 hours until smallville lol

and wen your in the middle of science learning about the periodic table of elements an ur teacher says krypton..and your face lights up with a smile and your friends look at you and burst out laughing

wen someone throws clark and hurts him..i jump up and start yelling curse words at the tv:lol:

on the kryptonsite at least 4 hours out of my day..yet i still manage to have a life..how is that possible??

Just before Lois came onto the show, I was thinking about growing my bangs out, but then I saw that she wore her hair just like mine, and since we pretty much have the same color hair, I just decided to keep my bangs and now wear half pony-tails and regular ponies a lot more than I used too!! :D

I have Smallville night marked on my calander (you have to have a highlight of your week :D)

My mom can't get after me for being obsessed, when she watches with me faithfully every thursday and screams at Clark about what a big dumb farmboy he is and to tell Lana his secret. :D I love my mom!! :)

You start saving up for a red Volkswagon Beetle just like Chloe's when you won't be able to drive for another five years (only 2 more years to go for me!)

You let out a little scream whenever you see something remotely related to Smallville (a field of corn, a yellow school bus, a 6"3 guy etc.)

You think up fanfic plots during maths and write them in the back of your book.

You also doodle pics of the cast in the back of your school books.

You can identify the exact scene, episode and season if someone quotes Smallville.

You have pajamas just like Lois's.

You replay favourite Smallville scenes in your head before you go to sleep in hopes of dreaming of Tom Welling.

You have a list of favourite Smallville scenes detailing how far into the episode they are in order to find them easily.

You can recite each season's episode order forwards and backwards in under a minute.

You annoy your best friend by constantly talking about upcoming episodes, even though they hate Smallville (shock horror!)

You play songs over the top of scenes which you think are more suitable (eg IMHO My Chemical Romance's Headfirst for Halos fits better then Good Charlotte's Girls and Boys in the first scene of Exile.)

You recreate the entire regular Smallville cast on the Sims and re-enact episodes with them.

You then go on to recreate every single FOTW on the Sims.

You have 'debates' about which is the better ship with your parents (who are the only people who'll tolerate your Smallville obssession instead of calling you crazy!)

You stare at a wall for a while and become annoyed because you don't have X-Ray vision.

You stay inside the hotel watching Smallville episodes instead of going to the beach when on holiday (ok so I was homesick and Smallville reminded me of home.)

You keep the Smallville DVDs under your bed instead of with the rest of your DVDs downstairs incase someone breaks in and tries to steal them.

You relate your homework to Smallville whenever you can.

Have all the DVD's, and have listened to all the commentaries and watched all of the extras.

Have all of the Smallville novels and have practically memorised the contents.

Have a Key and a Kryptonite ring, am still trying to get the rest of the collectables.

Write Smallville fan fiction when I'm supposed to be doing work.

Read other peoples fan fiction when I'm supposed to be working.

Have Jor-Els pendant logo on my work folder.

Can write using the Kryptonian alphabet.

Occasionally forget I can't fly. :\

Will probably call my first born son Kal-El (if my hubby will let me)

I also live in KENT, England. :p

I love those books!! 'Hauntings' is my favorite! I have read it like forty gazillion times and it never gets old.... :D

I find it easy to learn alphabets considering I write in Ancient Runic for private notes, and used to use the Greek and Cyrillic alphabets until my friends learned to read them! And I'm trying to learn Japanese.

You try to downplay your obsession bysneaking individual DVDs out of the Season cases, and then watching them in the DVD player in room after everyone's gone to bed.

You buy the new issue of Smallville and refuse to share with anyone (even you 7 year old son) until you've read it cover to cover.

You secretly covet the Tom Welling poster that is hanging in your son's room.

You just finished watching/catching up on Seasons 1-4 about a month ago and now we're starting the process again during the month-long "break" we have right now.

You know you're obsessed when, whenever you hear the name Chloe, Clark, Lana, Pete, Martha, Jonathan, Alexander/Lex/Alex Kent or Luthor you spin on your heels and look to see who said it hoping somewhere in your head that the Smallville characters have come out of the tv to take you home to Smallville.

You know you're obsessed when you even click and look at this thread, and are so relieved to find out your not alone. Then you call you parents to come and see this thread so that they don't call a psychiatrist.

-Tell all the deatails of each episode to my friends that don't even care about it.

You have dreams about the current storyline which might or mght not inlcude you as a character who might or might not interact with the characters. :lol:.

It's the third dream I've had about smallville. Last night's one - here's how it panned out. I dreamt that it was near the end of the series, not season, I'm talking about before he becomes Superman - no I haven't read any spoilers or anything so fear not anyone who reads this, it will give nothing away about any season - it's all made up from my warped mind :D. Anyway, for half the dream I was in Smallville, and the other half I was watching the TV with this episode on (Smallville Anon anyone?!).

So it started off with me being at the Kent's farm. The sky was a very eerie grey so despite being midday, everywhere was quite overcast and dark. The woods looked like it was actually nightime despite there being light. The moment you stepped outside them, you could see light but inside it was really dark. There was some new prophecy thing found in the caves and it was a message from Jor-El. That's all I know as I was then suddenly watching the TV and missed like 5 mins so next time, I was in the woods near the farm along with Clark, Lex and Lana. Lex was wearing a Green-K necklace as somehow he knew. He was attacking Lana for some reason to find out some answers about something to do with Clark. Clark then Superspeeded to grab Lex and tossed him aside and then felt the weakness as the green K took hold. Lex just walked off leaving me, Lana and CK. We walked outside of the dark woods to the road. The prophecy was something like, Clark will speed between 3 places to save people and then have to defend his home like as a man. I missed the first save, but it was something to do with the farm. Anyway he superspeeded to save some people from the metal debris falling from the sky (it now became really windy, almost tornado like) and after saving them, suddenly he lost his powers. So he told me to look after Lana - hey I wasn't gonna complain :D. We decided we should find out what was going on and whilst Clark went to find out also, we headed back towards the Kents only to find Lionel on the way. He was speaking weirdly (as in talking about things to do with destiny etc) so I assumed he wasn't Lionel at all but Jor-El. The sky began to turn darker and Clark had to do something to stop it but could only do so without his powers according to Jor-El or else the world faced destruction. It was unfortunately at this point someone interrupted me watching this episode on the TV and I missed what happened. Then I woke up. It's hard to describe it properly but it was a really good episode in my head :rotfl: :lol:

And now you'll never see me again as I'm too damn embarrassed to show my face here again :D :o

I made my own replica of the key, it’s made of steel.
I got most of my family, including cousins and everything, hooked on Smallville.
I got the Smallville yearbooks.

If I don’t watch (or god help the world miss) an episode of Smallville, I go absolute berserk, insane and angry.
I breathe and live Smallville, I use Smallville quotes everyday and everywhere I possibly can.

I know the names of more people in Smallville High and Smallville than I do in my school and town.

I know the characters so well that I feel like I know them and they are people I can rely on to be there.

I watch their lives unfolding and it's beautiful because although they usually have a FOTW once in a while, they touch on real morals, feeling and thoughts, they say things that most of us are too afraid to say and I admired them for their courage to fight their demons head on and say what they feel.

But personally in my own opinion the character I most relate with is Clark even though I am a girl. I know the names of more people in Smallville High and Smallville than I do in my school and town.

I know the characters so well that I feel like I know them and they are people I can rely on to be there.

I watch their lives unfolding and it's beautiful because although they usually have a FOTW once in a while, they touch on real morals, feeling and thoughts, they say things that most of us are too afraid to say and I admired them for their courage to fight their demons head on and say what they feel.

Yesterday was a "nowatchingsmallville" day for me and I'm proud to say I succeeded not to do it! :D I came from work, took my dog out for a run and then I went to play tenis for couple of hours. It was quite late when I came home so I took a shower, ate something and went to bed. Everything seemed it would be a perfectly normal day untill this point. And now comes the wierd part: I HAD THE WIERDEST DREAM.... I dreamed that TW and KK were here in my town (I live in a small european country so this is imposible) and they both knew me! Heck, me and KK even had some "fun" if you know what I mean ;) :p .

O.K, time to add one of my own - when you are called, you *sometimes* just so happen to imitate the scene when CK flies (S4, Ep. 1) - you know, the turn he does just before he's about to fly it's as if he's heard something (well he did, he heard the crystal). Only when you try flight yourself, you end up in a heap on the floor having tripped over some shoes on the ground, banging your knee-cap hard against your desk chair requiring you to immediately roll around on the floor writhing in pain - but it was worth it.

I get preview screenings of the episode. I send them feedback and they do what they want with it. Sometimes it affects an episode but a lot of the time it doesn't.
Besides part of the contract I signed that allows me to have preview screenings, included a vow of silence concerning certain forbidden topics or details. I usually get a call and I'm told what I'm not allowed to say.
I am allowed to drop hints, spoilers, spread news and raise publicity.
Exactly how I got my connections will have to remain a Clark Kent style secret.

I constantly go to many of the Smallville websites, my favourite being KryptonSite.
I talk to all my friends about it and they don’t even watch the show so they have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about.
I download and now have every song that was played on Smallville.
I have the original version of the pilot with that Cynthia Ettinger, or whatever her name is.
I made my own replica of the key, it’s made of steel.
I got most of my family, including cousins and everything, hooked on Smallville.
I got the Smallville yearbooks.

If I don’t watch (or god help the world miss) an episode of Smallville, I go absolute berserk, insane and angry.
I breathe and live Smallville, I use Smallville quotes everyday and everywhere I possibly can.

I know the names of more people in Smallville High and Smallville than I do in my school and town.

I know the characters so well that I feel like I know them and they are people I can rely on to be there.

I watch their lives unfolding and it's beautiful because although they usually have a FOTW once in a while, they touch on real morals, feeling and thoughts, they say things that most of us are too afraid to say and I admired them for their courage to fight their demons head on and say what they feel.

But personally in my own opinion the character I most relate with is Clark even though I am a girl. Clark is a person doesn't know who he really is and where he comes from, Clark is the person that is trying to find a special place in the world somewhere and discover his true calling while trying his whole life to fit in the ordinary world like so many of us.

He, like myself, can't be with the person he loves because he has built up too much armour over the years and that takes a while to break down because he doesn't want to get hurt or hurt anyone else.

Clark knows that with each new development his responsibilities become greater and more dangerous for those involved. Clark feels guilty about his past and looks forward to the future with wonder and excitement. Clarks knows that with as many gifts he has, he can't save everyone and control everything.

I love Tom Welling/Clark the most: his attitude, his personality, his smile, his voice is so soothing, his eyes are beautiful and a window to his soul.

When Clark goes through pain and suffering I can feel and understand it. When Clark cries or is sad, I'm sad or crying, when he's happy, I'm happy. I totally love the show in every way possible I have so many things that I would like to say but you probably need you space so I will leave it at this!

You look at your school's football team for a dark haired boy with Kent on the back of his jersey, you are disappointed when you don't find one

Here is one i really experienced during the the football season
You hear your school's football team is going to play a school with ville at the end... you mind goes to think ( thank god i didn't say it out loud) smallville in your mind until you remember
A. Smallville is in KANSAS you are not
B. Smallville is a smaller school and there for would be in a different district
and C. Much to your own disappointment you remember Smallville is not a real place
