Clana Story-Chapter 1 (Vow)

Note: This story happens after episode reckoning in season five when Clark reveals his secret to Lana and proposes to her. So basically this is what shoud have happened from season 5-7 (at least to me). Jonathan Kent is still alive and Pete is still in Smallville. Anyway I hope you enjoy. This is my first story being posted here.:)


CLANA STORY
Chapter 1
VOW
(Wedding Day)

In the Kent house...

Lana: The day has finally come.

Lana thought in her head as she stood in front of the five foot mirror fixing her dress in Clark's room. She closed her eyes to send a message to Clark as she always did.

Lana: I can't believe we're getting married. I can't wait to stand in front of you in the altar. I love you so much.

Clark: I love you too.

Lana finally opened her eyes to realize Martha Kent looking at her erratic. Feeling a little embarrassed she broke the silence sayinng;

Lana: I feel like the luckiest woman ever to marry such a wonderful man like your son Clark.

Martha: Lana, if I ever felt happier for you and Clark in my entire life, it would be today. I'm so proud of both of you.

Lana: Mom

Martha: Yes

Lana: Can you please help me finish zippering my dress? I can't reach.

Martha: Sure, Lana

As Lana turned back around Martha pulled out a small box. Lana looked perplexed as Martha opened it. Inside was a beautiful pearl necklace.

Martha: I wore this necklace when I married your father-in-law. I was hoping you want to wear it as a sigh of love and happiness and maybe you can pass it on to your daughters when they get married someday.

Lana holding the necklace said;

Lana: You mean you want me to keep it.

Martha: As a gift from me to my only daughter.

A few drops of tears began falling from Lana's eyes.

Lana: Oh mom. Thank you so much.

Martha: It would make me really happy to see you wear it .

Lana: One more thing mom.

Martha: Anything.

Lana: Can you please help me put it on.

Martha: Glad to.

Lana puts it around her neck as Martha clips the ends to the necklace together as it hangs on her neck. Now both women were crying and smiling contently. The moment broke as Jonathan Kent came in.

Jonathan: Are you two ladies ready or what?

Martha: Give her more time. You can't rush a girl on her wedding day.

Lana: Actually I'm all set.

As both woman excused themselves outside the door, Jonathan joyously said;

Jonathan: I see my future daughter-in-law is wearing my favorite necklace.

As he gives Lana a joyful hug, he says;

Jonathan: You look beautiful.

Lana: Thank you.

Lana says as she smiles. Martha hastes them both down the stairs. Both Clark and Lana decided to have the wedding outside since the day was warm and beautiful. Lana meets Chloe in the front stairs.

Chloe: You look absolutely gorgeous. So ready?

Lana: Yes, though I'm kind of nervous.

Chloe: Don't be. Trust me once you see Clark you'll feel relaxed and happy.

Pete: Just don't fall.

Pete said with a small laugh. Chloe gives him a light smack in the arm and an annoyed expression.

Chloe: Okay, so are you ready now.

Lana: Definitely.

Pete headed towards Clark as he gave him a signal showing that they were ready. Clark moving his head slightly towards Pete whispers;

Clark: So, how does she look?

Pete: Man, this is all I can tell you.

Pete gives him a thumbs up sign. Clark smiles with excitement. Suddenly the organist starts to play lightly then heavily the traditional wedding song. Everyone including Mr. and Mrs. Kent looks back to see Chloe first making an entrance in the beautifully decorated yard. Some of the guests were the Kent's relative, Aunt Neil and her husband, and some friends from the Kents and the wedding couple. Chloe stands at her place as everyone turns around again to see the bride enter. As Lana walks down the aisle, she thinks in her head;

Lana: Chloe was right. Just seeing Clark makes me more relaxed. I feel just great being with him.

She hands Chloe the bouquet who quickly puts it away to fix Lana's long dress.
(Silence breaks)
Finally the minister spoke.

Minister: We are gathered here today to unite this man and this woman in Holy Matrimony. They will pledge their love and commitment to one another in the sight of God and man, and be joined as one.

The minister opens his Bible. He reads a parable from it. As they exchange vows and rings, both Clark and Lana look into each other's eyes with passion. Clark gives Lana what appeared to be a wink in the corner of his eye. Lana smiles.

Minister: I now pronounce you husband and wife.

The minister faces towards Clark.

Minister: You may now kiss the bride.

Clark gazed at his wife as both lips touched. As Clark slowly pulled away, he looked back at his lovely wife. The minister then faces the crowd.

Minister: I present to you Mrs. and Mr. Clark Kent. Clark and Lana face the guest as they hold hands and walk down the aisle. Martha Kent and Aunt Neil begin to cry for joy as the men look on proudly of how the children now grew up to be husband and wife.

Chapter 2
DISCLOSURE
(After Party)


In the Kent House...

Everyone is proceeded towards their seat in the after party. The couple hear a familiar voice from behind.

Lois: After all these years, I would never guess you would choose him.

Lois Lane appeared all dressed up.

Lois: Sorry I couldn't make it on time. My flight was delayed so it took me an extra hour to get here. I missed the wedding.

Clark: I didn't mind.

Clark said as he teased Lois.

Lois: Ha Ha. Keep talking Smallville.

Lana: So how was your trip to Europe?

Lois: Well, it went better than last time. I mean to tell you the truth, spending time with my sister Lucky is way better than meeting with mindless generals. Well enough about, me how was the ceremony?

Clark: Better without you. (still teasing her)

Lana: Why don't you have a seat next to Chloe near us.

Lois: Sure. By the way, where is Chloe.

Lana: She is in the front stairs talking to Pete.

As soon as Lois leaves, Clark grabs Lana's waist and pulls her gently towards him.

Clark: I'm so glad we're finally married.

Lana: At last.

Lana quickly shifts towards Clark trying to reach up to his height so that her lips can meet his. They both kiss as it turns passionate.

Pete: You better save that for later.

Pete says as he makes his way around them.

Clark: We thought you were talking to Chloe.

Pete: Yeah. I was until both Chloe ans Lois started engaging in a long girly conversation. So, I decided to see what you guys were up to.

The three of them lead themselves towards their seats. In the long table, where the bride and groom sat, were the couple's parents, Aunt Neil and her husband, Chloe, Pete and Lois. The rest of the guest sat nearby. Pete finally got up and raised his glass. Tapping it with a fork lightly he said;

Pete: I would like to make a toast to the bride and groom. I know I may not be as good with wedding speeches as my man Clark, but I did the best I could to put one together. As best man I come to think of how fortunate a person can be to have someone in there life so special as Clark and Lana have. But to gain that kind of love isn't easy nor is it hard. You must be patient, thoughtful...and willing to do anything to obtain that desire... But tonight I bring you a couple who shares more than just affection and desire. They are images of love. Love stronger than anything you can ever imagine. No one or nothing can break such a bond between this man and woman. I ask all of you to raise your glass..To the new Mr. and Mrs. Kent. God bless them and bring many happiness to them as well as to their future family.

Clark: That was a pretty nice speech I have to say.

Pete: Well, I was thinking all night for something nice to say. I'm joking. By the way, I want to thank you for choosing me as your best man.

Clark: Actually, I wanted to thank you for being here. I couldn't think of anyone else who would make the perfect best man.

Pete: Anytime, man.

As the three women (Lana, Chloe and Lois) stire up an excellent conversation, Lana notices someone standing near the Kent barn. Knowing who it is, she heads towards him in a agitated manner. Chloe and Lois finally notices Lana gone and see her movng towards a man they've reckonized themselves.

Lana: Lex? What are you doing here? You weren't invited to our wedding...

Lex: I know but there are a few things I would like to dicuss with you alone.

Lana: Don't you see its my wedding day. Why all of a sudden you need to talk now?

Lana says with an intense anger in her voice.

Lex: Lana, its about the ship.

Lex blurted out to change the subject.

Lana: What is so inportant about the ship that you need the urge to discuss it now.

Again ignoring her he says;

Lex: I think I've figured out a way to open it.

Lana: Lex, I think its better you leave before Clark sees you here.

Lex: So this is about Clark, right? Of course everythings about Clark.

Lana looked at him confused.

Lana: What do you mean?

Lex: After all those times of him keeping secrets from you.

His voice became intense.

Lex: After all those lies he told you, you still chose him.

Lana: Its funny we had this conversation before. Right before you almost got me killed. But I guess you don't remember, do you?

Lex: Lana, I have no clue what you're talking about.

Lex places his hand on her shoulder. Meanwhile, Clark began to sense Lana's fustration as he placed his eyes on Lex.

Lana: Lex, I told you I don't want to have this discussion with you anymore.

Lex: Lana, please understand I just want whats best for you.

Suddenly Clark appears.

Clark: Whats going on?

Clark puts one arm around Lana's waist.

Clark: We didn't invite you for a reason. Now get out of here before I have to do it myself.

Clark's hands were holding Lex's coat up as he threatened to hurt him. Lex, not saing a word, headed towards his car.

Clark: Are you okay?

Lana: Yeah. Just angry thats all.

Clark: Don't worry. I'll make sure he doesn't come anywhere near you again. By the way, what did he want?

Lana: He just wanted to talk to me about the ship.

Clark: You mean the one that landed during the second meteor shower?

Lana: Yeah

Without telling him about the discussion of Clark, Lana quickly changed the subject.

Lana: So lets get back to where we were before the big chaos began.

Sooner or later, music started emerging in the dinner party. The DJ announced;

DJ: And now will the bride and groom proceed towards the center.

The dashing couple went towards the center as everyone looked after them. Clark gently grabbed Lana's hand as the music began to play.

Clark: I picked out this song especially for us. I was hoping to bring back some memories.

All of a sudden, Lana remembered the night they both danced as they looked into each others eyes.
The song played;
"You and Me" by Lifehouse
....cause its you and me and all of the people with nothing to do;nothing to lose;and its you and me and all of the people and I dont know why; I cant keep my eyes off of you.....

As the couple danced to the song some of the guest including Mrs. Kent were can crying to see such a romantic couple slow dance to such a beautiful song.

It was time for the newlyweds to head on to their honeymoon.

Martha: Guess its time to say goodbye. I'll miss you both very much. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Jonathan: Have fun you two...oh and just remember to come back.

Clark: Don't worry we will.

Clark said with a smirk on his face. Lana knew what he was up to.

Lois: Have a good time you guys.

Chloe and Pete were the last ones to say goodbye.

Pete: Hey guys, listen. Before you leave there is something Chloe and I need to tel you.

Lana: What is it?

Chloe: Well, we're making it official that...Pete and I are dating. We wanted you two to be the first to know.

Lana: Thats great.

Clark: Yeah guys, congrats. Why didn't you tell us before? (as he smiles)

Pete: We didn't know how to tell you...now you know.

Lana: Thats awesome. Now the four of us can double date even though Clark and I are married.

The thought of this rushed through Clark's head.

Clark: Wait a minute. We were going to spend romantic evenings alone.

Everyone laughed including Clark. The new Mr. and Mrs. Kent sped away to there honeymoon saing goodbye to everyone.

Chapter 3
HONEYMOON

In the Kent farm…

Lana: So where are we going?

Clark: Somewhere romantic.

Lana: Oh, as long as its not far away. I mean by the time we get there…

Clark: Don’t worry. I have superpowers remember. I can take you anywhere you want to go. But first let me surprise you with what I’ve got planned.

Clark lifting his wife into his arms flew into the air. While soaring above what seemed to be a huge body of water Clark said;

Clark: Are you okay?

Lana: Of course. Never felt better.

In seconds they landed in a familiar but beautiful city. The view was magnificent and the temperature was just right for both of them.

Lana: Clark, where are we? This place looks so familiar. (as she smiled)

Putting his arms around her waist he said;

Clark: Turn around.

Lana quickly turned around to find the Eiffel Tower standing great upon their sight.

Clark: We’re in Paris. I know its probably not what you expected but…

Lana: Clark its beautiful. And besides, it doesn’t matter where we are…as long as we’re together.

Clark: I have a cottage here waiting for us but first I need you to close your eyes.

Lana closed her eyes as Clark lifted her up again and soars into the sky. They landed on the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Lana: This is amazing.

Turning around Lana begins to stare into his eyes.

Lana: I don’t know of any man who’s capable of taking a woman on top of the Eiffel Tower. Its beautiful.

Clark: Just like you.

Clark says as he came closer to her. They share a passionate kiss which fills them up with joy and happiness. Soon after Clark takes her back to the cabin where they share a delicious meal and spent a wonderful night together.

Chapter 4
VERITY
Part 1

Lana wakes up to the smell of bacon crisping in the pan.

Lana: Clarks making breakfast? Odd

She quickly puts on her cloths and heads to the kitchen.

Lana: Hey. How you doing my gorgeously hot husband?

Clark turns around turns around and gives Lana a kiss.

Clark: Made breakfast for you sweetheart.

He says as he begins to smile romantically.

Lana: Wow, Clark. I didn’t know you can cook.

Clark: Clark Kent is full of many talents. That is what you get when you marry a farm boy.

Lana: An amazing farm boy. (she corrected)

Changing the subject Lana adds;

Lana: So, where are we going today?

Clark: I was thinking….its about time you meet my biological father Jor-el.

Lana: I thought you said that your parents died when Krypton was destroyed.

Clark: Actually, they did. But my father’s knowledge and profundity still remains. You can’t see him but you can talk to him. I go to him once in a while to continue my training.

Lana: So where in Krypton is his you know…knowledge.

Clark: Its in the Fortress of Solitude. The place I took you when I told you my secret and proposed to you. Well…thats basically all that remains for me.

Lana: So all your life you’ve been visiting the Fortress for your training?

Clark: Not exactly. You see…it kind of appeared after the meteor showers hit Smallville the second time. In fact, Chloe ended up there.

Lana: Chloe?

Clark: I guess I haven’t told you everything, haven’t I? Well, I was sent to my father, Jor-el to continue my training when all of a sudden, I saw Chloe freezing to death. Since I had to get her out of there and to a hospital, I had no choice but to promise him I would come back.

Lana: Did you?

Clark soon becomes down. Not knowing how to put into words, he finally gave up and came up with an explanation.

Clark: When those Kryptonians attacked you at the Luthor Mansion, I was supposed to go back to Jor-el.

Tears became forming in his eyes.

Clark: But instead I took care of you. Since I didn’t return as I promised I faced a huge consequence. Lana, someone I loved was supposed to die.

Lana: Why didn’t you tell me this before?

Clark: I don’t know. I guess I was afraid…afraid of what you would think about me.

Lana begins to stroke his hair.

Lana: I will always love you no matter what. I won’t let anyone or anything break the love we have for each other. Now lets just go back to our normal lives and leave the past behind.

Clark: You’re right.

Clark makes a quick smile yet uncertain.

Clark: So, are you sure you want to visit my real dad?

Lana: I would love to meet my father-in-law. Oh, better grab my scarf and gloves.

ah Paris.... Spent 3 months there last year...

went to the top of the tower too... only the antenna above us... The view of the city from up there is incredible... I even took nice pics...

but im getting off topic....

What better place to celebrate love than to visit one of the most romantic city in the world...

Chapter 4
VERITY
Part 2

In the Fortress…

Clark and Lana entered the Fortress of Solitude where Clark revealed his secret to Lana and proposed to her. Clark pulled out one of the crystals. Holding it he says;

Clark: Father, are you there?

Jor-el: Yes I am, son. I can see that you brought your wife along.

Lana: How does he know I was here before?

Clark: He can sense whose here without seeing he or she.

Lana l0oked surprised.

Clark: Father I wanted you to meet my wife, Lana Kent.

The sound of the name made her jump up and down inside but she remained still.

Jor-el: I see. It’s a pleasure to meet you, my daughter-in-law.

Taking a look at Clark she finally spoke.

Lana: It’s a pleasure to meet you too. Clark told me so much about you.

Jor-el: I’ve noticed, otherwise you wouldn’t be here. I’m very proud of both of you. By that you show great strength in the importance of love, Kalel. Yes. I want you to take your wife and show each other the importance of life and the wisdom of faith. That your children will carry out the same belief. And Lana do the same. For a mother with little allegiance can only plant one seed to produce a flower, but for a mother with great spirit and devotion can plant one seed and produce a garden.

Lana: I understand

Jor-el: Now go as man and woman and carry out your strength and wisdom to the world. So that as your children grow older, they too can understand the same meaning in life. I hope to meet again with both of you someday.

Lana: Clark

Clark: Yes

Lana: I have a question.

They begin to talk for the first time since they got back from the Fortress.

Lana: When Jor-el was referring to you as Kalel…is that your real name?

Clark: Its my kryptonian name. Its sort of like a second name to me.

Lana: Well, I like it. Is it okay if I call you Kalel once in a while.

Clark: Sure. Why not?

Chapter 5
Suprise


A few weeks later Lana decided to visit Chloe who attended Metropolis University. At Chloe’s room both women discussed about their loves.

Chloe: So how was the honeymoon?

Lana: It was great. We stayed in a beautiful cottage in Paris.

Chloe: Paris. I knew it!

Lana: Yeah, it was great. I even got to go no top of the Eiffel Tower.

Chloe: Really? Wow you must have had a really great time.

Lana: I did. Well, enough about me. How are you and Pete lately?

Chloe: When you guys were away, he took me to this elegant Italian restaurant in metropolis.

Lana: Wow surprising

Lana says in a sarcastic voice.

Chloe: Well I was shocked also. I mean I never thought he would surprise me like he did that day. But it was just so romantic.

Pulling out a Chinese menu, Chloe says;

Chloe: You hungry?

Lana: Yes

Chloe: Let’s order some Chinese.

Lana: Okay

Lana orders her favorite dish, Chow Mien. After the delivery arrives, they begin to eat.

Chloe: So how is Clark, by the way?

Lana: He is great.

Suddenly Lana feels a sickening feeling in her stomach.

Chloe: What’s wrong?

Lana: Excuse me.
She immediately runs to the bathroom with one hand covering her mouth and the other on her stomach. Chloe goes after her, worried. A few minutes past as Chloe knocks on the bathroom.

Chloe: Lana, are you okay?

Lana: No, I just threw up. Weird, it’s the third time it happened this week.

Chloe: Did you check with the doctor? Maybe it’s a stomach virus or something.

Lana: Well, I was kind of feeling sick before, but today I was feeling better until now.

Chloe: Look I’m not a doctor but maybe you’re….well you know….pregnant.

Lana: Pregnant?

The sound of the word made Lana jump up a little.

Chloe: Well, did you and Clark have sex recently?

Lana looked at Chloe weird. She felt uncomfortable about that question.

Lana: Yes

She mumbled under her nose.

Lana: But do you honestly think I’m pregnant?

Chloe: Well there’s only one way to find out.

Chloe pulls out a pregnancy test out of her drawer.

Lana: Since when you have a pregnancy test with you?

Chloe: Yeah, please don’t make me answer that question.

Lana: Oh, okay.

~one hour later~

Chloe knocks on the door.

Chloe: You’ve been there for almost an hour. These pregnancy test are fast you know.

Lana comes out looking uncertain.

Chloe: So?

Lana: I think I’m pregnant.

Suddenly someone knocks on the door. Chloe opens it to find Clark with two bags of Chinese food.

Clark: Hey, I got you two some Chinese.

Setting the bags down he says;

Clark: Here are your favorites.

Clark hands one meal to Chloe. Here is chicken and broccoli.

Chloe: Clark!

Ignoring her, he hands the other one to Lana.

Clark: And here is to my beautiful wife. Chow Mien.

Lana: Oh god!

Lana quickly runs to the bathroom again.

Clark: Did I do something wrong?

Chloe: No, its just the smell of it is making her sick.

Clark: I can see you girls already ate.

Chloe: Clark, there something you need to know.

Lana immediately comes out of the bathroom. I’m sorry guys.

Clark: Okay this is weird. What’s going on? Lana? Chloe?

Chloe looks at Lana who begins to say;

Lana: I’m pregnant.

Clark: What? Lana are you serious? That’s great!!

Lana: Well, actually I took a test not long ago so I don’t know for sure…

Clark: No you are. I can hear the baby’s heartbeat.
Lana: Really? So were going to be parents. Oh my god. I couldn’t ask for a better gift.

Both women cry for joy as Clark thinks in his head.

Clark: Wow, I’m going to be a father. My wish came true.

After there wonderful occurrence, both Clark and Lana went home.

Lana: I’m so excited. We’re going to have a baby.

Emotions rush in as she begins to speak again.

Lana: Just think it’s going to be you, me and the baby.

Clark: Well, eventually more.

Lana turns around to look at him.

Lana: How many are you planning on having?

Clark: As many as we can handle. But to be exact, about 5 to 10 kids.

Lana: 5 to 10 kids? We’ll see.






Note: This happens a few hours later.;)

~At Chloe’s place~

Someone knocks on the door at Chloe’s place. Knowing who it is she quickly opens the door.

Chloe: Hey Pete

Pete gives Chloe a long passionate kiss.

Pete: So what’s up?

Chloe: Nothing much. So have the newlyweds told you?

Pete: Told me what?

Chloe: I guess you’ve lost track of events or your best friend forgot to tell you.

Pete: Tell me what?

He says with an odd look on his face.

Chloe: Well I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Pete: Oh come on. I’m going to find out eventually, right?

Chloe: Well I guess so. Okay fine. Clark and Lana are going to have a baby.

Pete: Really?

Chloe: No, I’m joking.

Chloe says in a sarcastic voice. Pete squints his eyes and then smiles. He pulls her close for another long kiss. Suddenly someone appears at the door.

Lionel: Sorry to interrupt your ravishing exchange of sexual feelings but I overheard you say something about the young Kents expecting a child.

Chloe: Mr. Luthor. Is there a reason to interrupt?

Lionel: Most certainly. I happen to heed any information concerning Clark and Lana.

Pete: Since when?

Lionel: None of your concern. However I must say I was pretty shocked when they didn’t invite me to their wedding.

Chloe: There’s a reason why. And as their friend we don’t let snobs like you and your son interfere with Clark and Lana’s lives.

Lionel: Very well then. I must not interrupt the rest of your evening. Good night.

With an intensive smile, Lionel leaves.

Pete: What was that about?

Chloe Oh you know, just a typical Lionel act. Let’s not let pigs like him ruin our evening.

Pete: I couldn’t agree more.





~At the Luthor Mansion~

Lex stares at the fireplace, in front of him, holding a picture of Lana. He looks down at the picture, ready to throw it into the fire. Still holding it, he thinks in his head.

Lex: Oh Lana. What did you get yourself into? I gave you everything you’ve ever wanted. I held your secrets and I even sacrificed my life for you, but you still chose him.

Lionel: Lex?

Lex: Yes?

Lex quickly looks up to find Lionel peering down at him.

Lex: Dad, what do you want?

Lionel: I was hoping to be welcomed with open arms, but I guess your mind is on something else.

Throwing the picture aside he says;

Lex: Nothing important.

Continuing Lionel says;

Lionel: I have the right news to such a good topic. You know, son. Not only is Lana married, but she is now having a child. This means your luck keeps getting pushed off shore.

Lionel gives Lex a small pat on his shoulder and leaves the room smiling. Lex picks up the picture one more time to stare at the woman who could have been his. He sets it down as he continues to stare at the fire burning.
